Dirty rooms (we found dirty socks left behind in the room that had been supposedly cleaned), dirty carpets, stained towels, filthy shower curtains, unattendend restaurant tables, neglected pool area and very poor service. What a disappointment! Employees seem to be confused on how to organize themselves, the receptionist lacks of professionalism in hospitality. Ugh! Not worth the stay!

My girlfriends and I had planned a weekend getaway to Stow. We're we ever disappointed with our hotel selection!!!! As we drove into the driveway the main part of the inn looked "OK" but the hotel section on the right hand side was so run down and dirty we began to get a little concerned. As we got out of... More

The Stowe Inn was a big disappointment. The outdoor pool was dirty and unappealing. The 2 queen bed rom in the Inn was really beat. Stains on the ceiling like someone had splashed dirty water, stains on the carpet and black stains on the pillowcases. The toilet seat was chipped and the bathroom sink was seriously scratched of its finish.... More

Let's start with some positives: when my wife and I stayed here they upgraded our room for free, and it was clean enough (some dirty or worn-out spots here and there). The location is perfect, right downtown. The lobby looks fancy and the staff was courteous. Now for the negative: the breakfast. This is Stowe, a place packed with Bed... More

This was a very nice inn. It was charming, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff at the Inn, including the restaurant and tavern, were very friendly and helpful. It's located in town, so it's within an easy walk of shops and restaurants. All in all, a very nice place.

The positive: The staff here were very nice and accommodating, our room was very clean, and the inn is very convenient for walking into town. The negative: the inn is tired. Common areas just look old, dull and dreary. The dining area near the bar is dark and needs some serious sprucing up. We were tired after a day of... More

On our visit to Stowe, we dinged at the River House Restaurant located in the Stowe Inn. The facility is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The night we came was their first night being opened under their new name. The food was very good and we would definitely come back. Thanks for a great evening!

We spent a weekend at the Inn and were happy with our room in the main building. A nicely decorated room with two queen beds, a large bathroom and a separate sitting room with second tv and a pull out couch and fridge. Perfect for giving everyone space and privacy. The inn has an outdoor pool that others were enjoying... More

We stayed in one of the "motel" rooms and not the actual inn rooms but it was ok for what we paid. There is coffee and muffins in the morning so this was a plus cause every place you go in Vermont is overpriced. It's just how it is. You might find a great rate at any hotel but be... More

Was very surprised to find no air conditioning in our room especially since it was 85* that day. The room was clean but dated. Asked for extra towels as there were 4 of us and they were never delivered. It was just average....
