This is a great place to stay. It is cozy and comfortable, everything you would expect from a B & B. We had the Sugar Maple Suite, which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Amazing amount of space for the cost. The home cooked breakfast each morning was wonderful! It is just a 5 minute ride to Stowe... More

And you all were great guests! Thanks so much for coming up from Florida to stay with us and enjoy a late winter/early spring getaway. We are very pleased you found so much to your liking and hope you will make your way up to Stowe in the future and stay with us again. No extra charge for the deer... More

We had the privilege of staying at The Timberholm Inn this past week for just one night on a ski trip to Stowe. The property is beautiful, the space itself is welcoming and homey, and Tom and Susan are wonderful hosts. Our room was just what we were hoping for, cozy and comfortable, and breakfast! Oh my goodness! Breakfast was... More

The Timberholm is a good value and nice place to stay. The proprietors are really friendly and helpful. The decor is rustic and homey with a common area that has a nice view and an impressive fireplace. The breakfasts are decent and a good prelude to a day of skiing and lest you feel lonesome, Sophie, a golden retriever with... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the smallest rooms, it was advertised as small and was as described - very clean, ample storage, comfortable bed and beautiful view out the window. Breakfast was excellent, friendly hosts, homemade brownies and local tea in the afternoon with fire in the main room and a nice place to relax and meet... More

Within the first minute of being in the timberholm I was greeted by Tom. He is one of the most sincere and welcoming people I've ever met. The inn was beautiful and the decor was hard not to look at. The breakfast was served fresh every morning! Seems to me like everything was homemade. Absolutely delicious. I will most definitely... More

Don't stay in the Cedar room. Cozy. Only one person can enter at a time. Can't open elbows to brush your teeth. Hosts were pleasant. Great room with fire place when lit was nice. Spot convenient. Breakfast very good. Room is tiny.

Thank you for your review. I won't dispute that the Cedar room and the Spruce room are tiny. That is exactly how we describe those rooms on the website. I would say it is an exaggeration to say that only one person can enter at a time. Couple rent those rooms all the time, and they are usually the first... More

Had a great time, and the Barnes were extremely helpful and accomodating. Accomodation was clean, and everything worked like a charm. Common area was very cozy with lots to keep busy - shuffleboard, movie area, hot tub, lounge area, etc. If I find myself in Stowe again, I will definitely stay here.

The inn is very conveniently located both for the mountain and for the village. Tom was very welcoming, and his breakfasts are excellent. He was also very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, ski areas, etc. The living room is very cozy - fire in the fireplace every afternoon and evening - and the view from the living/dining areas is wonderful.... We stayed two nights in September and throughly enjoyed our visit. Timberholm is nearby all attractions. Breakfasts were excellent! Very relaxing. Tom and Susan were welcomng hosts and helpful with suggestions on what to see and local restaurants. The view from the deck is beautiful, seeing deer and turkeys in the early mornings. We look forward to a return trip.

Yes indeed, September is a beautiful month to visit Stowe and the Timberholm. Check us out in the Winter and Fall as well. I guess I think that Stowe is beautiful during all 4 seasons. Tom More

My wife and I don't usually stay at B&Bs but our kids gave us a gift certificate for a 2-night stay at the Timberholm. We were pleasantly surprised. The location is very convenient to the Stowe ski area and Stowe village. The inn is quaint and very comfortable. The host is very accessible and caters to the guests' needs. The... More

Yes, with a planning ahead, especially during the busy ski season, we can definitely get you into one of the larger rooms. I would however point out that 5 out of 9 of our rooms DO have HDTVs and DVD players, as well as the large HDTV and DVD player in the guest lounge. So glad you enjoyed the breakfast.... More
