My husband and I recently stayed at The Timberholm and it was a very nice experience. We booked the Cedar room which is a small room, a very small room although we knew this when booking we didn't expect it to be that small but the bed was super duper comfy which made up for everything. The room as well... More

We had a wonderful time at the Timberholm! Lovely atmosphere, location, food, hosts. Can't say enough about how welcoming the place was, and how much we enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely consider a return visit. SO... don't take this next thing the wrong way, I assume it is just a temporary problem... The only negative: the hot tub was out... More

Tom and Susan are devoted, professional, caring, passionate, innkeepers. They are also really talented in the kitchen. The common areas in this property are wonderful, full of such a relaxing atmosphere. Just beautiful. There is a great hot tub outside, an AMAZING view from the main living room, great breakfast, perfect location, and many treats. This is a B&B though.... More

Thank you for so many compliments and such a high rating. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay at the Timberholm, and your visit to Stowe. The room you booked was one of our tiny rooms, and that is the way we describe them on our website and online. We don't hide that from our guests so they won't... More

We came into Stowe on our way to Jefferson City. Wanting something tucked into the woods, this was the perfect setting. It was clean and cozy with an absolutely beautiful view. The hot tub was an extra nice added feature. When we stayed there it was full with 8 couples having breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was delicious and... More

Thanks for your review and for bringing up what I found to be a remarkable morning at the Timberholm. We get many overseas guests, but it was truly special to have 8 countries represented at one table. Great people and great conversation. Thanks for being among them! Tom & Susan More

My mom and I recently stayed at Timberholm after researching multiple Inns in the area. We definately hit the jackpot! The smallest room was pretty tiny but we managed just fine. We preferred the slightly larger room which was well worth the cost. Everyone would congregate around the fire and at breakfast, discussing their daily plans. We took advantage of... More

You pointed out one of the best things about staying at the Timberholm. Gathering around the big fireplace and enjoying the company and conversation with so many nice people. Thanks for staying with us! Tom & Susan More

My husband and I stayed just one night in cleam and cozy room #5.The walls and ceilings are thin but that happens at B&B's sometimes. Our bed had a creaky wooden frame (quaint) and the mattress sloped too much for my husbands taste but I thought was fine. Bed was nice and cushy with crisp linens. Hosts were accommodating about... No problems with dietary restrictions at the Timberholm and no one goes away hungry. Glad you enjoyed yourself here with all the "quaintness" the Timberholm has to offer. Hope you'll be our guest again in the future and stay more than one night...lots to do in Stowe! Tom & Susan More

We spent two nights. The inn keepers were very nice. The setting is great and we enjoyed the outdoor porch. Wish we would have had time to use the hot tub which many of the B&B's we have visited don't have. The breakfasts were very tasty. The facility is aged which adds to its charm but the walls are a... The Timberholm Inn was built in the 1940's...one of Stowe's original Ski Lodges. With all that charm comes a all the creaks of a 65 year old Vermont building. We're glad you enjoyed it. Tom & Susan More

The Timberholm Inn is one of the most charming and cozy bed and breakfast inns that I have been to in a very long time. Everything from the welcome to the hospitality was top notch. The breakfast was incredible every morning with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountain top - - simply spectacular. I originally booked the butternut room... More

My boyfriend and I spent part of Labor Day weekend in this rustic little inn tucked away in the hills of Stowe. We stayed in the Birch Room, which was clean, cozy and perfect for our needs. The property is very much in the woods and away from the town center, so it was completely peaceful and quiet. In the... More

We are so glad you found the Timberholm to be so relaxing. It sounds like you need to come back sometime and spend more time in our great room. Might I suggest you visit us again the the Winter. The great room is especially cozy with a roaring fire in the big field stone fireplace. Best, Tom & Susan More
