The Timberholm Inn is one of the most charming and cozy bed and breakfast inns that I have been to in a very long time. Everything from the welcome to the hospitality was top notch. The breakfast was incredible every morning with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountain top - - simply spectacular. I originally booked the butternut room... More

My boyfriend and I spent part of Labor Day weekend in this rustic little inn tucked away in the hills of Stowe. We stayed in the Birch Room, which was clean, cozy and perfect for our needs. The property is very much in the woods and away from the town center, so it was completely peaceful and quiet. In the... More

We came to Stowe for a wedding; so looked for a B&B for a couple of nights. Timberholm Inn was an excellent place to stay: Great innkeeper; inviting, warm room; outstanding breakfast. The view from the Inn's front deck is what you see on their website, overlooking the valley and hills beyond. Lots of restaurants nearby and an easy trip... More

We went on a girls getaway to Stowe. Unfortunately, the first hotel we booked was terrible. The Chamber of Commerce recommended and booked us a 2 bedroom suite @ the Timberholm. We were so pleasantly surprised by the Inn and our accommodations. The Inn is nestled off of the Main St. in Stowe. It was so picturesque, clean, friendly and... More

Based solely on its website, we booked the whole Inn for our August, 2014, wedding. At no time during the year of planning or our week-long stay did the Timberholm or its keepers, Tom and Susan Barnes, fail to meet and exceed our expectations or those of our families and friends. Golden Retriever Sophie and Siamese kittens Bubble and Squeak... More

We spent three nights here and it was all we expected and more! The property is very rustic and homey with a beautiful common room, dining area, and expansive deck overlooking woods and mountain. You are well off the main road so it is so quiet you can even hear the hummingbirds' wings flutter as they drink from the multiple... More

We stayed at the Timberholm Inn for two nights. It had a very pleasant homely feel to it and the accommodation was spacious as we were in the 2 bedroom suite. It is, however, an old property and so yes, the walls are thin and the floors do squeak, but it feels like a home so it was very relaxing. The... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience! The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was cute and cozy, and the common area was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, as mentioned by other reviewers! We would definitely recommend the Timberholm Inn to others staying in the Stowe area, and we hope to... More

It's not always easy to do justice to a B&B, since the accommodations are not as uniform as those at hotels, and different guests may be looking for different things. I wasn't impressed with the Timberholm, but I'll try to be balanced. The house occupies a privileged spot that's central to Stowe, yet feels remote, and benefits from unobstructed views... More

Thanks you for reviewing the Timberholm Inn. Susan and I are indeed sorry to hear that you don't hold the same view as we do as to Timberholm Inn value. Let me start by saying that our rates, high season, low season and regular season, reflect rates similar to our competition here in Stowe. In fact in most cases we... More

We planned a stay at this Inn based on a recommendation from a co-worker. It was the perfect setting for a short stop-over in Stowe on our (31m and 30f) way from Toronto to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. The room was cute and cozy, the landscape was breathtaking and the hospitality (including breakfast) was very first-rate. Our stay... More
