I loved the Honeywood. We stayed over at the Inn and while it may not have been the Ritz, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. It was close to everything we wanted to go to and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. If you are looking to stay in Stowe, Honeywood should be the place that you check for vacancies first. more

My wife found the Honeywood through a friend from work. We were 3 couples, and it was perfect. Afternoon hot cider and freshly baked cookies by the fireplace, really hit the spot after a day on the mountain. It was nice that all 6 of us could get together in the living room, and not have to squeeze into one... more

My husband and I found the Honeywood accidentally when the hotel we were booked to stay in vas overbooked. The nice man at the desk called the Honeywood, as he said he had spoken to the owner earlier and they had a cancellation. The Honeywood was only a short distance closer to the mountain. What a lucky break for us... more

We have been to Stowe Vt a couple of times when we have travelled to the east coast to visit family in Ontario. We have stayed at the Honeywood lOdge both times when making a detour to Vermont. Our stay was terrific. The rooms in the Lodge are very comfortable and upscale from what you would expect in a small... more

It was clean and welcoming and our one-bedroom suite was gorgeous. At the front desk, our hosts Carolyn and Bill were extremely helpful. I wanted to know about a store hours and location--they not only called the store for me, but went back in the office to look on the internet for more details and printed out a detailed listing... more

We called 13 days in advance to book 3 nights, specifically telling the man who answered that we needed 2 beds for 4 people. He said it was no problem and took our credit card number for the deposit. Upon further research, we found they were having a stay 2 nights, get 1 night free special so we called to... more

My husband and I just stayed at the Honeywood over President's Day weekend, and couldn't have more good things to say about it. Our room was nice and the family that runs the B&B really go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay. The breakfast was AMAZING (with a number of delicious choices each day... more

Unless money is no object (and even if it's not and you want a truly most pleasant stay) then the Honeywood is the place to check into when in Stowe. It’s as close to the mountain as it is downtown and you can’t duplicate the hospitality you will find there at any of the other Inns. They do not have... more
