This is the second time that I have stayed in Northern Lights Lodge. It is affordable (we shoved 4 people in our room this time!) but has some downfalls too. This time when we opened our fridge there was a half eaten sandwich in there from the previous guests- which was gross to say the least and I'm not sure... More

We had two rooms at Northern Lights Lodge for five nights. including New Year's Eve. Wonderful and great value. Five minutes one way to slopes, ten minutes the other to town. We were in the main lodge, which I recommend. Nothing like heading to breakfast in your slippers. Beds were comfortable, great wifi, nice shower. Pool and hot tub were... More

My son and I stayed there for a week during a ski trip to Stowe. The Lodge was everything advertised and more. It was about two miles from the mountain; the rooms were clean and very comfortable; the owners (Mike and Shannon) were always available and ready to make sure our stay was enjoyable; breakfast was freshly made every day;... We stopped here during a road trip in last September. We didn't expect too much but i fall in love with this place. The lodge decorations are very nice. Feels a bit more "homie" than a lodge The manager was very nice and helped us with every question we had for him. He advised us couple of trails around the... More

We had a great time at the Lodge. It is a pretty authentic ski lodge, rooms are simple (as they are supposed to be in a lodge), but very clean, with good TV and channel selection for someone interested. They have excellent WiFi throughout, and i could easily connect to work, which is not common. The place is a great... More

We stayed here for the british invasion car show with our 2 kids. Great choice. We had one of the efficiency apartments in the back building. Our kids loved the bunk beds. We loved having the seperate bedroom. The room was spotless, although a bit on the dated side. The kids loved the 2 pools. It was kind of late... More

We were a part of 6 and stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights in October 2014. We had 1 value room in the back building with 1 double bed and 1 deluxe room in the main building with 2 queen beds. We were happy with both rooms. The deluxe room was much more updated and larger. The value room... More

Stayed here in October, thankfully only for 3 nights! We knew the room was "value" so we were not expecting luxury and just in case we were horrified, the owner reminded us at check-in that we had booked a value room. He proceeded to tell us what great value the hotel was in "leaf season". It was a horrible experience. Every... More

We were visiting stowe in late september for some hiking during the indian Summer. Our room was large and perfectly clean and the breakfast was amazing. However, what really made our stay here perfect was our host. First of all, we instantly received an upgrade on our room, and when we asked for some hiking tips to mt Mansfield, the... More

It was after a long drive when we finally got to the hotel. We were greeted and quickly checked in and even upgraded with no additional charges. The manager was kind and even called to reserve a table for us in a nearby restaurant (which was very good). The hotel offers a good hearty breakfast and even has a pool... More
