This is this real deal. Jackie O and the Kennedy clan hit the slopes from this Inn. It's an old school ski lodge - no yoga classes or pilates at the gym - but the slope is just outside your balcony and the room is huge. It's well maintained and the staff members are friendly, helpful, and well-informed about the... More

Our room had a couch and 2 sofa chairs. The couch was old, saggy and very uncomfortable. The chairs were also uncomfortable. The Adirondack chairs outside our sliding glass door had paint peeling off of them. The front office staff were not welcoming and definitely not friendly. We only learned about the continental breakfast by walking around the Inn to... More

We haven't stayed here for a few years but the price was right, the direct access to a lift ideal and the winter view great. The room is OK for a motel and perhaps the place wears down by the end of the ski season. But it doesn't live up to the quality that Stow Mountain should represent. Old carpet... More

This Inn is owned by Stowe and is ski-in ski-out if you are willing to ski a secondary trail. It is outdated and expensive. Continental breakfast is nice but only served on weekends. Otherwise it was very nice.

The location is perfect. Its the closest inn to the mountain resort if you are not staying up at the mountain itself. Its right between the mountain and the town so shuttle trips are short both ways. The shuttle was always out front ready to take us to spruce peak or to eat within the Stowe locations. The front desk... More

Unfortunately, there is no positive ways to describe this Inn other than Giff at the front desk who was pleasant and helpful and very apologetic. We payed a premium for a suite that was no more than a motel room. The two queen beds were ok but the pullout couch was disgraceful. The entire place looked good from the road... More

We booked a 2 bedroom condo thru the Inn and stayed just after Christmas. It was called the Lodges. Pricey, but being a holiday week we were willing to pay. Two weeks prior to arriving I received a call from Giff stating my request for bunk beds and a single for the three kids was available and he had just... More

We actually stayed in the Mt. Mansfield Townhouse, #10 to be exact. It's booked through the Inn at the Mountain. There was plenty of room for 2 families, 2 full bedrooms with King beds, kitchen, fireplace and an outside locker for skis. All linens, eating and cooking utensils are included, as well as daily housekeeping. It was a little pricey... More

This was a fantastic stay in Stowe. I came here in January for 5 nights during a non-peak week and it was great. The hotel is fairly basic, not frilly by any means. It's a good stay if you're not expecting high-end thrills. That being said, the room size is great - we had a king bed, pull out couch,... More

I stayed at the Inn at the Mountain for two nights. I was in town for a conference. My room was one of their suites, which was spacious and had a living room with a couch (may have been a sleeper sofa), two chairs, a small table and chairs, a little kitchenette, a bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a...
