My best friend and I were both on vacation, and our destination was going to be Stow, Vermont. Next was finding a nice place for our two night stay. I searched the internet, for bed and breakfasts, and came across the Brass Lantern Inn. It looked charming, so we called and spoke with Nancy, the Inn Keeper. She was extremely... more

We recently stayed at the Brass Lantern for three nights, over the July 4th holiday, and we had a lovely and relaxing time. The inn is about a 3/4 mile walk from the center of town, which we were able to do in about 10 minutes. The inn itself is quite nice, with an inviting living room, big, sunny dining... more

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Brass Lantern for 4 nights and we had a great time. We're both 22 and we don't ski so it might not seem like the ideal place for us, but we had a great time. Nancy is very helpful, over breakfast (which was very good) I asked her several questions about things... more

We booked the Brass Lantern Inn after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We were very pleased. The place is extremely clean and quiet. We had a fireplace room with a fantastic view of the mountain. Breakfast was awesome as well as the afternoon cookies and tea by the fire. Skiing could not have been better and many of great... more

Just returned from a short visit at the Brass Lantern Inn. It is a very nice quiet place to stay in Stowe, just 10 min ride to the hills. We had a nice large room with 2 queen size bed. It was very clean and very tastefully decorated. Freshly baked cookies after skiing was a nice treat by the fireplace... more

We just got back from a great ski trip to Stowe. I selected the Brass Lantern Inn after reviewing and pricing B&B's on the Internet. The Brass Lantern Inn had the best prices while still looking very nice. We hit a quiet week and enjoyed having the place to ourselves. They have a very large and comfortable common area downstairs... more

My husband and I were in Stowe to ski for the weekend and decided to stay in one of the Parlour rooms at the Brass Lantern. We were very happy with our decision to stay at the Inn. Nancy cooks a wonderful breakfast that changes every morning and is always around for pleasant conversation or to answer questions about the... more

My husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters were touring the New England states for 10 days, we spent 2 nights at the Brass Lantern. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The owners were very friendly and helpful when needed, yet left us do our own thing when we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and there was... more

This was an average B&B. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The room was big, however did not have a TV. The host was friendly, however did not cpmes across as someone who was interested in giving you information about Stowe and where to go etc. Felt that for the cost that we paid... more
