We stayed at this Inn while in Stowe for one night on our trip to see the Fall Colors. Even though it's on the main highway going into town we never were affected by any noise. The location was very central to the main town area. We walked into town to get dinner in the evening. We opted for one... more

We stayed here for a night (unfortunately too short) and had the best time. I can't say enough about how warm and friendly this B&B is. I've stayed at many an "upscale" and "fancy" accomodation in Stowe over the past decade---these places can't touch the Brass Lantern and are stuffy and pretentious. The Brass Lantern is clean, tidy, and comfortable.... more

We spent two nights here. Wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were spotless and roomy, and we had a great view of the mountains. The owner was very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was great. This one is definately on our list to stay again. more

The Brass Lantern Inn has a very warm feeling; beautifully decorated; very relaxed atmosphere. They send you off the next day with a wonderful breakfast! Owners are very accomodating! more

We only stayed at the Brass Lantern for one night, but enjoyed our stay. The hostess, Nancy was very friendly and accommodating. This Inn or B&B does "simple" very well. There really is no "wow" factor with this place, but I mean that in a very complimentary way. For example, for breakfast we had just simple scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit... more

We stayed at the Brass Lantern Inn for two nights in May during a quick weekend getaway. Nancy was a superb hostess...our room was spotless and she accommodated my vegetarianism with ease! We enjoyed walking around Stowe and eating in all the great restaurants, but also had a nice time just reading on the plush couches in the living room.... more

A friend and I spent 3 nights at the Brass Lantern. From booking the room to check in and check out Nancy (the owner) made the experience pleasant. We had a fireplace room with tub (although used the outside hot tub post and in lieu of skiing). Our room was spotless, huge and with a view of the mountain. Location... more

I knew that the Brass Lantern Inn was going to be a nice place to stay but had no idea that it was going to be as great as it was! We wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast for our one year anniversary with a New England country charm and antiques. We were also looking for a nice,... more

Let me say that pictures of the rooms on the website do not do this inn justice. We were surprised at how lovely and charming this inn is. We were there during Christmas time, and when we walked in we loved the soft Christmas music and the comforting ambiance. We felt like we were visiting a friend's house while they... more

We had to cancel our reservation here. While they provided us a "gift certificate" at the time for a future reservation, they no longer will honor the reservation. The receptionist was rude and not accommodating at all. We lost $137.50! more

We welcome all feedback. However this feedback was misrepresented. Yes this guest did cancel his reservation and it was within our cancellation policy of 14 days. As a goodwill jesture and due to his situation, we offer a gift certificate to be used within a year and had an expiration of 12/07. On January 30, 2009 he called asked if...
