We stayed at The Brass Lantern Inn many years ago - and whist in those days a little dated and dark - we wanted to return because amongst other things the location is excellent - oh and the views ! What a transformation - the public areas and the bedrooms are now light and airy and the facilities wonderful (the... More

We loved our stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. Our room was adorable and comfortable. The inn was full, but we never heard anyone in the neighboring rooms. The inn keepers were very friendly and offered good suggestions for nearby activities. The breakfasts were delicious! We recommend this inn to anyone who will be staying in the Stowe area.

My husband and I just got back from the Brass Lantern Inn in Stowe, VT after staying for the weekend. It was my first time to a B&B and I have to say I am so happy that my first stay was here. We were greeted by Maryann when we arrived, such a warm lovely lady who gave us the... More

The only regret that we have is that we could stay for one night only. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Mary Anne and George were excellent hosts in their beautiful home. Breakfast was just wonderful, the grounds were lovely and the view was awesome. We are looking forward to a return visit! Denise & Allan English Paradise,NL

The inn is spacious yet cozy. It is just outside of the village so you are out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to be convenient. We stayed in two different rooms due to a last minute booking during a busy vacation season. Both rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. Many places to... More

We are so very rewarded to know that we provided you with exactly what you needed at this time. And thank you so much for accommodating our availability calendar. August is a wonderfully busy time of the year (one of our 12 Seasons!). It was a pleasure to host you and we are so grateful for your gift of a... More

We are returning customers, and found the Inn under new ownership. Everything I expect from a great B&B! Clean, cozy, comfortable bed, super service, beautiful views, spectacular breakfasts, and lots of little extras (ice and filtered water, Keurig coffee maker, snacks in the room with a fridge and microwave if needed)!

Going into our 5th year of ownership of the Brass Lantern Inn, it is truly very rewarding to read this review. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get to know you and to learn that we both met our spouses on a bicycle trip!! Wow, the memories of those bike trips were fun to share. We certainly hope we can... More

Delightful hosts, tasty breakfast and very comfortable rooms, but the best part of our stay involved sitting in adirondack chairs on the beautiful property of the inn and enjoying coffee and cookies in the evening.

We had not been back to visit the area for over 15 years and chose Stowe to spend a couple of days as we just passed through the last time. Mary Ann & George are very welcoming hosts, warm and friendly and full of information on where to eat drink in the area. We booked the Mt. Mansfield room which... More

We are very flattered to know that we were your choice of B&B in your return, after 15 years, of your first visit to Stowe. We and our small housekeeping staff thank you for your comments regarding a clean and comfortable guest room. That is critical in our goal in providing the "Bed" part of our Bed and Breakfast experience.... More

We travel around new England all summer, and always stay at B & B's. The Brass Lantern Inn was a real treat, a lovely historic home in a convenient location with helpful, gracious hosts. I've never seen so many roomy and comfortable common areas in a B & B, both inside and out! Absolutely wonderful, one of the best Inn's... More

Fresh cookies and coffee in the afternoon. Mountains on view at breakfast. Tasty breakfast. Games on hand for rainy afternoons. Thoughtful, friendly service. Our family had a great time and intend to be back.
