My wife and I stopped in for lunch at this pub on the main mountain road to Stowe. Chris is the owner - great guy from Hampshire. Food was superb, classic pub food. American twist on British, with some great English beer on tap.

We chose the suites in one of the detached blocks at the rear of the inn which were quiet, spacious and had all the necessary amenities but in truth looked a bit dated & need a little bit of TLC to move them up a star. The bar & restaurant are good with an amazing choice of beers & wines... More

We were excited to get to this relatively pricey Inn and enjoy Vermont in its green splendour. We were greeted by the owner who casually told us he will leave for the weekend however his fabulous and knowledgeable staff will take care of everything we need.We didn't expect the disaster was yet to come. The spa room was the first... More

I had purchased a Groupon deal for a two night stay in a honeymoon suite, which I used for a March 2012 stay. It was no longer ski season, but despite that, there was plenty to do. The inn is located on a road wtih many restaurants and bars. There is also a mini golf place nearby. The suite was... More

Ye Olde England Inn is centrally located in Stowe VT, with easy access to ski trails, both downhill and cross country. The local scenery is beautiful and inviting during all seasons. We visited in early June, between the ski season and the summer mountain hiking season. It was very quiet in Stowe, yet great weather and hiking. Chris, the owner... More

We have eaten at Mr.Pickwick's pub many times over the years - but never stayed at the inn. Upon arrival, the check-in was quick and friendly. The room was a little dated but it was cozy and everything was in functioning order. We had decided to get a room with a spa tub which was giant - but really worth... More

We'd never been to VT before and were anxious for the trip and was not in any way disappoiunted. Erin made the booking easy and her warm, caring and friendly demeanor compliments the warm atmosphere. We were more than pleased with the Inne and the staff; the room was simple, but pretty and suited our needs. Eating at Mr. Pickwicks... More

What a lovely suite! The suite we stayed in at the Bluff House was beyond our expectations. It was clean, roomy and charming. The seating room had a great fireplace and adequate seating. The deck off of the seating room was a great place for a morning cuppa while listening to the birds sing. The bedroom was nice sized and... More

We stayed here during the off-season of April this year and absolutely loved it! We upgraded to one of the suites and the room was expansive with a vaulted ceiling and a wonderful jacuzzi 'cave'. We went on the April 'Fool's special, so ate breakfast there which was tasty quiche, bacon & home fries one day and delightful french toast,... More

Been coming to Ye Olde England Inne since its inception, over two decades ago. Has become one of my favorites places. Got “beamed” (memorialized as a several time repeat fan on the bar and restaurant beams) a very long time ago. Whether for drinks, lunch, dinner, a night, or a weekend, it has always provided a memorable getaway. Charming in... More
