Earlier this week my father and I decided to have dinner at the Inn and it was the worst experience we had during our stay. Our server was rude, unfriendly and completely lazy. The owner didn't seem to know how to handle the situation either. After eating a bowl of lukewarm soup and waiting for over an hour for our... More

Christmas 2013 was our third trip to Stowe and in the prior years we'd eat a meal at the Innes pub at least once and go for regular night caps - so we've become holiday regulars. The friendly staff remembered us from prior visits and warmly welcomed us back. This trip we stayed at Ye Olde England Inne and were... More

On our whirlwind tour of New England, we had 1 night to stay in Stowe. I came across Y.O.E.I. It is a very nice and comfortable place to stay when visiting Stowe. The staff very friendly and courteous. The rooms were small, quaint and comfortable as well. It was a great place to stay after a day in the snow... More

We did not stay at the Inne but went to visit some olde friends, staying there. We arrived early evening and decided that we would have a couple of drinks before dinner and what a great selection of beers on tap that they have, including some English beers. I was really looking forward to dinner and some real English meal... More

Another wonderful week long stay at the Inn. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Mr. Pickwick's boasts a fabulous selection of beer, scotch and ports; and dinner of game meats was superb. We stayed in the main Inn. The room was quaint and very comfortable.

My husband and a few friends decided to stay a few nights at the Olde England Inn. We've stayed in other places before and thought we would try it due to it's central location and proximity to the mountain. From our arrival and straight through to our departure it was like an episode of Faulty Towers. The receptionist presented as... More

My Birthday falls on December 13th. My loving girlfriend booked a night at the Inne as a present the weekend of the 13th. The Bluff House Suite room was devine. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub relaxing, the gas operated fireplace captivating and the other ammenties very tasteful. Speaking of taste, a trip to Mr. Pickwick's was a real... More

My wife and I booked a last minute stay at Ye Olde England Inne and couldn't have been happier. The owner, Chris, is extremely welcoming and friendly. The pub was great - it had an awesome, authentic British atmosphere and a wide variety of craft and imported beers. Our room had a nice spa bathtub. We would definitely recommended staying... More

My husband and I came here with high expectations, as we booked this trip for our silver wedding anniversary. We researched local amenities in the surrounding area, and made note of places to go. Upon arrival to the Ye Olde England Inne, we were made extemely welcome by Chris, the owner. On our fews days that we were there, Chris... More

The owners were delightful and helpful. We loved the restaurant, Pickwick's Pub. The food was outstanding and the service was attentive. Loved the atmosphere, too! The Inne itself is charming - a true Vermont experience. The room was small but quaint and clean. Not luxurious, but very comfortable. We will definitely go back!
