I've stayed here for years, because of the location, the trails, the fireplaces, and because it's dog friendly. I've never found the management to be very warm or helpful, but it was never so bad that the benefits didn't outweigh a little unfriendliness. My son was married this summer at Edson Hill. The setting was absolutely gorgeous! Because there are so many weddings held there, everything was organized well. The ceremony and reception ran smoothly. The food was good and the flowers stunning. The accommodations are a little pricey, but because a wedding is a special occasion, I didn't mind.

The noise from this lodge and nearby lodges was terrible. Couldn't sleep. Without AC, windows had to be open. Parties and noise till 3am. They charged far more than what they quoted to include "gratuity" of 36 dollars a day. For what??? A clean towel? There are far better and higher quality places to stay. I highly recommend it. I... A beautiful setting it is not new but everything works well good breakfast and the food at wedding was wonderful. It is located in a wonderful area

We arrived on a very cold and snowy nighty, when the Dining Room was nearly empty, only one other family. But as usual the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the falling snow outside just added to the ambiance. Food was excellant. We always have a great meal here.
