Edson Hill is truly a special, one of a kind inn. Stowe is special and this inn is icing on the cake for a visit there. The site is well off the mountain road in a very quiet and beautiful setting. The grounds are spectacular! The restaurant is excellent, our room was country modern perfection and super comfortable; great bed... More

Its well situated, the grounds are beautiful but not impeccable maintained, the inn is very nicelly renovated. The rooms are very nice and clean. We stayed on night and had dinner and breakfast. The food was exellent, the chef is 10/10. Cons: The service in not at par. The employees are nice and polite but it seems that they don't... More

Beautiful setting and nice amenities. We stayed in one of the cabins with soaking tub and used it every day with the windows open and breeze blowin through. Nice renovations - however the pool was green when we arrived and unusable. They were in the process of getting the chemistry straightened out, so temporary problem. Need more lounge chairs though.... More

We read a story recently in the Boston Globe about the new ownership and renovations to the property. We decided to go for a drink before our dinner at another restaurant. It was definitely worth the trip. The views and property are speculative. We will return in the near future.ppp

This place is top notch, without question. It is beautifully decorated, in a spectacular setting, and the peace and tranquility cannot be beat. Their food is wonderful too, as is the service. We stayed in the Two Queen with Fireplace room, and we really enjoyed ending each evening with a roaring fire. Everyone was very nice and attentive to our... More

What a delightful surprise. The manager showed us to our well appointed rooms. This is not a crusty B&B. This is a thoughtfully renovated place to stay. Rustic in character with a fireplace was just what we needed to start our vacation.. The only regret is that we were not staying longer. The grounds are stunning and the staff was... More

This place is amazing! We spent a week roaming upstate New York and Vermont, and Edson Hill was the jewel of our vacation! First of all, the off-peak room rate was beyond a steal... we paid more for much less at many other establishments. Second, every aspect of this property is like walking on the set of an HGTV show... In planning our trip to the east coast, of all the hotels & B&B's we had reserved, we most looked forward to Edson Hill in Vermont. It seemed unique by the reviews, and indeed it was. From the picturesque driveway, with horses in the field to greet us, to friendly Babette at the reception desk and the delicious dinner at... More

I was completely blown away by Edson Hill. I stayed here with my boyfriend and we got the king size fireplace room with soaking tub and it was beautiful. You could tell how much effort was put into the room's decor. It was fabulous. The dining room was closed for dinner but the tavern was open and we spent all... More

Always go with TA recommendations and glad we did again. The Edson is off the beaten path and gives one the feeling of really being in Rural Vermont. It is a charming location up the hill overlooking a pond. The rooms are relaxing with all the amenities. Only downside was the fact the pool was under repair.
