We stayed for the 4th of July weekend (unit 28). The location of this hotel is great, and the furniture is all brand new and modern. But the rooms themselves have not been updated. Luckily for us the weekend was not too hot, because the air conditioner at the back of the unit did not work well at all. The... More

My husband and I spent a weekend in Stowe, and were very happy with our stay at The Mountain Road resort. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean, and the pool and spa were great. The location is fabulous. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as the bikepath. For... More

Can not say enough for the staff. They are friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Always going the extra step. The resort is absolutely clean and beautiful. We had my nephew's wedding and were there a long weekend. There was absolutely not one bump. Gabby was wonderful. A few people from our large party had a couple charges that were not... More

This hotel is a good place to stay for the price. (Just a reminder, this review was done in the middle of April and ski season was nearly over.) Open for breakfast at 8 am. Coffee, tea, juice, toast, yogurt and granola. More than adequate for most people. In the afternoon the outdoor hot tub was relaxing. In the evening... More

as a frequent visitor to stowe over the years, i now only stay at the mountain road resort. the recent renovation is modern, tasteful and interesting, especially all the art. the rooms (in particular the suites) are great and well appointed, the pool area is open and welcoming, and the hot tub/sauna are always awesome after a day on the... It's true to its name - it's a resort, not a motel. The suites and deluxe rooms are worth much more than the rates. Michelle and the staff bent over backwards to be accommodating. Best of all, our room was sparkling - not just clean - SPARKLING! The mirrors, drinking glasses, nick-knacks, carpets, everything.

The only thing I love about this hotel is hot tube, both indoor and outdoor. When you have been skiing for the whole day, relaxing in the hot tube was the best feeling ever. I am so glad we have that at our hotel. The room is spacious, can fit all four of us comfortably. Beds were comfortable enough, bathroom... More

I understand the statement, "Looks can be deceiving" now. Upon arrival, the newly renovated check-in/lounge area was welcoming and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room, in the not so renovated section, was clean and would have been the perfect place to sleep after a day of skiing. I say would have been, if it wasn't for the PAPER... More

I must admit me and my girlfriend are kind of picky when it comes to hotels but this place we thoroughly enjoyed. It was very quiet, rooms were clean and roomy. The staff was very knowledgeable about events in and out of town. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch. The pool, hot tub and sauna area were... More

I went with a foliage photo group, so did not choose the hotel myself. Upon arrival around noon, the staff was working very hard to prepare the rooms. We only had about a 10 minute wait. Nice to be able to settle in right away. The motel style room was basic and clean. Even though we were in first bldg... More
