We stayed at the Anchorage Inn in Burlington, VT this past Thursday and it was much better than we expected. In an otherwise very expensive location, the hotel was well-priced and close to everything we needed. We felt quite safe, the room and pool were all very clean, and the continental breakfast (cereal, donuts, coffee, tea, juice, milk) was very... more

The hotel is very simple. We stayed in a Family room and our friends in a double room. Both rooms were big, but the bathroom was very small (just a little bigger than a Formule 1 Hotel). The bed was ok. The breakfast is served in the entrance, not in a restaurant, and consist of milk, orange juice and cereal.... more

We stayed for one night as we were passing through. The people at reception were helpful and amicable. The room was dark and dismal, a tree immediately outside the window, the carpets looked old and worn. There were no toiletries, however, the shower was powerful. The bed was comfortable but the linen did not look crisp and clean. We did not... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the umpteens time. Nicely redone clean rooms and pretty large too excepts for the bathroom. Super location, beside Barnes&Noble and across the street from Vermonts largest shopping centre the University Mall. Lots of very good and family retaurands nearby. There is even an indoor pool and sauna. 24hr coffee and tea, plus continental... more

I already was getting over a cold when I arrived at this "Inn" but I actually think I got my sinus infection from staying there because of the mold in the room/carpet. I was just praying it didn't have bedbugs. Initially I was suppose to stay in a B&B through this organizaiton that was hiring me for an event, but... more

We stayed here en route from Boston and got a good rate through roomsaver.com for like $ 50.00 a night. Although the outside looks very nice, the room, although pretty large, is really outdated. Like mentioned before, no toiletries, lumpy bed, etc. It was pretty clean, though. I will say, though, the staff was great. My daughter got food poisoning and... more

Strange throwback hotel near downtown Burlington, Vermont, with old style room keys, old style everything. No toiletries, torn bedspread, lumpy mattress, dust bunnies galore. Excellent high speed internet but no outlet near the desk, except for one behind large TV cabinet. Heater effective but noisy; clock radio broken. Reasonably spacious room but the place had a deserted feel to it,... more

Older property, but comfortable.Nice staff. Nice room. Location good for the mall, just across the road. Stayed here twice, once on the way to Maine and on the way back( not that we had planned the latter) . When we left there the first time, we stopped in at the Christmas Loft. Mum realized she had lost an earring. We... more
