The smell was moldy when we first opened the door. ..and we never got used to it. The towels were see thru and tiny. The blankets were threadbare and had cigarette burn holes. My husband had to stand on the bed and adjust the a/c. The floors were dirty. The microwave was sticky. So much for the highlights.

Paid $125 for a night in the two-storey part. Smelly. Took the bedspread off because it smelled, too. Blanket underneath was threadbare, with a couple of cigarette burn holes for good measure. And 125 American dollars gets you all this plus no fridge, no microwave, no hair dryer, no air conditioning...but plenty of big, fat ants roaming the carpet and... More

Being that Burlington is a very pricey state, I guess the $70 it cost for a basic room for the night was acceptable, especially since it was within walking distance of the Greyhound station at the airport, and there was a good restaurant right across the street. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water, and by and large... More

I was placed at the Ho hum motel. Through the state, as I'm disabled and I use a service K9.I have seizures that when at their worst can be deadly. As I pulled up to the front. I was just relived to not be out on the streets for another night. I walked in the door. To the male owner... More

receptionist is very nice and chatty. However, the WIFI there doesn't work. The heating system is rudimental. If you're on a budget, this will do; if you are looking for nice vacation, look somewhere else. Downtown is accessible by bus and its like 40mns of commute.

The owners were the sweetest people, very helpful with directions and suggestions of places to dine and visit. This was our first time to Vermont and we would definitely go back and stay at this place. We walked to the diner for breakfast, we walked across the street for snacks, it was perfect. But if you are looking for fancy... More

We arrived in Burlington at night on 9/27/14, to find all motels/hotels full. We pulled into Ho Hum and were told this was the last room. It wasn't because later another person was able to get a room. The room that we stayed in was hot, thank god the A/C was working. Music was played loud until 12 midnight. The... More

If you are staying over night because of an early morning flight, this hotel has the perfect location right by the air port. But that's about it. It's shabby, dirty, over priced, noisy, smelly and has zero amenities. Wear your shoes as the carpet is really well worn, the AC didn't work, no coffee maker, hair dryer or anything else... More

Air conditioner is so great. Modern places don't compare. I like it 60 degrees. Room for all of those great memories from the past. You have always heard of this. Thanks for being so thoughtful! As Foreigner said "I thought you were out of what is great!" Thanks again and I will be back later!

My family and I stayed here for a night. The location is good since it's about 5 minutes away from University mall and there are many restaurants/diners around. The receptionist was also friendly. However, our room wasn't the best. There was a strange smell that just would not go away, the AC didn't work very well and the wifi didn't... More
