Our return visit to Quiet Valley was as enjoyable as our first several years ago. Situated in the midst of gently rolling hills, meadows and farmer's fields Quiet Valley B and B offers a peaceful silence, bright , spacious accommodations, wonderful breakfasts and hosts who are warm and hospitable. Close enough to Middlebury for delicious dinners, and in the heart... More

My niece and daughter were in Middlebury, VT for a lacrosse tournament this past weekend. We were fortunate to have found Quiet Valley B&B. Jane and Bruce enthusiastically welcomed us and showed us around their beautiful home located in a dreamy setting. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Jane and Bruce were eager to share the numerous dining options that... More

I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Quiet Valley Bed and Breakfast. My room and private bath were clean and spacious with great views of the beautiful Vermont countryside. Jane made a scrumptious full breakfast every morning including fresh fruit and home made baked goods. Wifi service is also available and the location was perfect for my... More

I stayed two nights at Quiet Valley, and by the second afternoon could not wait to get back "home" for the evening. Quiet Valley B&B lives up to its name, with not another house in sight. The greens, the rolling hills, the distant mountains, spectacular birdsong in the morning, the purple martins in the meadow, the creek at the foot... More

I had an extra night before a conference in Lake Placid and had the opportunity to spend it at Quiet Valley. Jane and Bruce could not have been more gracious and welcoming. From the hot tea on a rainy afternoon, the sweet cozy bedroom, the locally made soaps in the bath and the hearty, healthy breakfast were just what this... More

We chose Quiet Valley Bed and Breakfast on the recommendation of friends who had stayed there before. The setting was quintessential Vermont-Country: peaceful and beautiful. Our room and bath were clean and comfortable, and our hosts most hospitable. Jane cooks a lovely breakfast every morning. Late afternoon, we were served tea in the living room, looking out on the spectacular... More

Beautiful house in Vermont farm country; Bruce and Jane were warm and welcoming; the breakfast omelet, with Cabot cheese, fresh basil and tomatoes, was scrumptious. Also the croissants, applesauce, jam..outstanding food in peaceful, picturesque country, with friendly smiles.

We would not stay again at this B&B. Guests were seated in the kitchen for breakfast and conversation was often interrupted by our hosts. Rooms were large but not overly clean. A large living room was full of more than furniture and not available for guests so there was no place to gather at all. The setting was lovely and... More

I booked the Quiet Valley B and B for one night while attending an event at Middlebury College, a picturesque 10 minute drive through farms and valleys. Bruce and Jane took sumptuous care of me, and made me feel like a family member in their house. Delicious blueberry pancakes, sausage, home made zuchhini bread and endless dark good coffee....home cooked... More

We made an upcoming reservation to stay at the Quiet Valley B&B while we are visiting VT for our best friends wedding in June. My husband put the deposit in the mail and we were excited about our time away. A few weeks before our trip, we get a call from Jane, the innkeeper, telling us that she has CANCELED... More

Thank you for your feedback. I can understand your frustration and am truly sorry that we were forced to cancel your reservation one month before your planned stay. We'd never had to do that before, nor have we done it since. We are a family-owned business operating our of our home and unfortunately had to deal with a family emergency.... More
