Could use an update, a little dated, often wondered where staff where...not at the desk...sometimes they were on the computer in the business area...checking email and such. Breakfast was okay, too many carbs, very little protein.

The window covering says it all...Dated motif. Interesting crowd at breakfast this morning. Could be cleaner....moldy tubs aren't my ideal vaca spot...but I think if is the newest in this town. Expensive for what you get...even with Vermont standards... I've been traveling Vermont for three weeks...this is the most expensive stay I've had, and the oldest hotel.

The staff was so nice and friendly it made a business trip a pleasure. I usually can't sleep in hotels, but I had no trouble at this one. They even signed me up for LaQuinta rewards when I was checking in. The whole process took just minutes.

This hotel looks like it used to be a Comfort Inn and has been remodeled. Motel is basic and reasonably priced. It's close to the highway and there is a nice gas station /convenience store/Dunkin Donuts right next door. The free breakfast is rather plain but will get you on the road. Desk staff was friendly..Good place to stay while you... More

Outstanding staff and an excellent hotel=great stay and a welcoming place for all who choose to stay here. The location is a convienent gateway to the ski areas of Vermont and close to Canada as well.

This was my 3rd stay at the La Quinta in St. Albans. Our group of friends always stops here on our way from Toronto to Smuggler's Notch for a weekend ski/snowboard trip. It's a very convenient location and the included breakfast works out well; allowing us to eat a quick meal, check out, and head down to Smuggs in time... More

Fine hotel. Staff always great. Room we were in had a strange tapping in the wall but I think it was related to the thermostat. Breakfast served it purpose. Only complaint is hockey teams. Not sure why we had to be put on the same floor with the hockey team. I understand that they are having fun but if we... More

This was an OK stay. The hotel staff was fine. The breakfast was adequate but not exciting. The room stunk of stale cigarette smoke which made sleep less pleasant. The WiFi was as expected. Not a bad place to stay for the money. Would not rush to stay there, either. If you stay there, I suggest making sure the room... More
