I stayed at Back Inn Time for three nights before July 4th weekend. It was a great place as a base for biking and hanging out at several really nice parks in the nearby Lake Champlain area. I went there specifically to ride the 26-mile Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail (very nice ride on smooth crushed stone). It's easy to bike to the trail from the inn using residential streets.

The location of the inn is excellent, being only two blocks from the center of St. Albans with its three blocks of shops and good places to eat across from the town park (where I saw a free concert on Sunday evening).

We wanted to find the local store and Travis gladly showed us where it was whilst taking the dog for a walk. The village it is situated in is an old railway town, very quiet but picturesque.

The rooms in the hotel all had their own names and themes (as shown on the website) we stayed in the Atwood room which was tastefully decorated with a huge comfy bed, a big oak old fire place with lots of candles surrounding...
