Could have been better. There was a problem with the bathroom sink, which was backing up from the floor above mine. Black sludge-like substance was coming up from the drain. The desk chair has a piece of protruding sharp metal that could have potentially injured a child, and this was a family trip where my grandchildren were in and out... More

This hotel is located off a state highway, near big box type shopping centers;, a few chain restaurants are nearby. It's just off a major highway, is about about 10 to 15 minutes from the historic part of Rutland which has some very interesting, locally owned restaurants. The rooms are large, clean and typical of what anyone who stays at... More

I stayed here recently with my husband and two boys for just one night as we were heading further north the following day. The room was nice and clean. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning, typical breakfast items...waffles, fruit, muffins, a large variety of cereal, etc. The hotel is... More

Friendly, friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. We stayed for 4 nights. Somewhat pricy compared to other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Stayed for the National Railroad Historical Society (NRHS) annual conference and rail rides.

Our family stopped here en route to Maine. While Rutland itself isn't much of a destination, one can base camp from there to explore the region. The hotel staff was good, the room spacious and very clean, and the breakfast was great. We will stay here again next time we travel to Vermont.

There is nothing bad to say about this place. Clean comfortable rooms. Microwave, refrigerator, Free WIFI, Coffee maker, Hair Dryer, Pool, Fitness Center and free breakfast. The room was a little far from the desk (Room 207) but very near the ice machine and the back door. Every room is either near the desk the elevator or the ice machines,... More

We stayed there for five nights. The hotel is very convenient to everything, including a shopping center that has a supermarket. The staff are SO nice and helpful. They are very familiar with the town and make good recommendations for restaurants and nearby attractions. We loved the location and were able to make several day trips to such places as... More

For a quick in/out room and a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting, this Hampton Inn is the play to be. The drive across route 4 was very scenic. I did not know Killington Ski Resort was along the way, which was a very pleasant surprise for me.

Lovely hotel with over the top friendly staff. The room was so clean and fresh. I love the clean bedding, the shower, the breakfast and the quiet. Even the thermometer worked so well to cool us down or warm us up. Just what we needed after a long travel day.

I have stayed in the Rutland Hampton Inn at least (10) times in the last (5) years. It is always like coming home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are immaculate and the morning breakfast is appealing. Word of advice: Unless you like marshmallow soft pillows, bring your own from home.
