Weeks ago, I planned a trip to Vermont, NH, and Boston, for this weekend, to look at colleges with my 17 year old daughter. We planned to start in Vermont and ski the weekend at either Killington or Stowe. Last night, I spent several hours looking at lodging at these two resorts and chose Killington, in part, because of the... More

It's not to far from killington ski mountain , but it was good . Room was big and staff was very friendly. Room was clean and good breakfast . I would like to be closer to the ski area but everything else was booked but this wasn't bad .

We were looking for a base to stay at while skiing in the area. I spent ages trying to find a place close to Okemo Mountain with a decent review. This hotel is closer to Killington and we were skiing in Okemo but it was an easy drive to the mountain about 20 mins away on decent roads. The staff... More

The hotel is easy to find. It's nears shops and restaurants and about 15 - 30 minutes to skiing. The service at the desk was amazing. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and I was in my room in minutes. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel also has free breakfast in the... More

Location is ideal. We had two college basketball games and the hotel was convenient to the other colleges. Also prefer the Hilton Hotel chains. The only thing that I would really complain about is the noise. It was ski season and vacation week, so there were quite a few young adults. A lot of door slamming and talking in the... More

Have stayed now twice at this hotel iwth my family and will return. Clean and spacious room, good complimentary Internet and nice selections and comfortable sitting area with the complimentary breakfast. Stayed a different hotel last year, but the kids asked to go back to the Hampton Inn.

We just visited the Hampton Inn in Rutland Vermont and can honestly recommend this hotel. The room was ready upon check-in and it was clean. We only stayed one night and arrived late so we really didn't go around the hotel. But we did totally enjoy the complementary breakfast! It was the best I have ever had at a hotel.... More

The location is ideal for an in town stay, yet close to major skiing. Great people and nice rooms. Could use a hot tub, but the pool was almost as warm as a hot tub. There is a 99 restaurant within easy walking distance and a really nice steak house also close by... Walking if you are willing to go... More

We stayed at this location the night before skiing at Killington. The staff was very friendly from check in to leaving the next morning. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked! Only complaint would be the first room they gave us smelt like someone had thrown up and we had to get the room switched. The front desk... More

What you would expect with an added plus of a great staff. Comfortable and quiet. We needed an early check in and they were happy to oblige. This was our second visit and we again had a good nights rest. Did not do the breakfast as we wanted to try out some local diners.
