The room that we booked on line was not even available so we were not upgraded, but downgraded. The cleaning staff did the bare minimum during our week long stay. Nice Red Roof. Motel was having a lot of renovations going on but did not interfer with my comfort. Very large lawn for walking my dog under beautiful trees. Quiet and very comfortable. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Would stay again. more

Former Howard Johnson Motor Inn in South Rutland, exterior as stated, looking badly rehabed..but the room was fine and a decent upgrade..stayed here many times over the years for skiing, and it is far more reasonable than places on Killington. Room was well equiped. more

It had high speed WiFi, as advertised, a bed and a TV. Everything else was pretty disappointing. It was a cold night, and the windows did not keep out the cold. We tried to stay in the Holiday Inn right across the street but it was full. They suggested the Red Roof Inn and boy! were we glad! This hotel is more than fine, it's right on the main road (but not noisy) with restuarants and the mall very close by. It's clean, quiet, safe and the staff are really helpful.
