We reached to hotel using a coupon from one of the (very nice) Vermont tourist centers. The coupon advertised the hotel for 45$ (midweek, +20$ on weekends). If you ask me, it was a tad overpriced. The reception clerks, after checking us in with the coupon, made what I expect was rude remarks in their Native tongue. The room had... more

we paid over $100.00 for this room and it was deplorable. bugs in between the sheets, dirty bathroom, hot water shooting out of the faucet, and hard to understand staff. and that doesn't even cover a third of it. the next day we didn't have any refills of the stuff that was supposed to be given to us and they... more

I booked a room a year in advance for a fall foliage tour. I would never stay there again. It was overpriced and a dump. It looks better from the outside than from the inside. I wouldn't say it was dirty but it thoroughly needed a lot of remodeling. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. The managers were... more

Looks like no one liked this place based on the reviews. My experience was actually rather nice for what we paid for. We are four students who worked at Killington. We are from South Africa. We were looking for a place where we could stay for as cheap and convenient as possible. As we were dependant on the Rutland bus... more

Unfortunately, we did not read these reviews ahead of time, otherwise we would have not stayed there. This room was small, dirty, shabby, and something I would have been afraid to bring my cat to. The whole room gave us the heebie jeebies because of the grimy rug, dirty ac which was falling apart, the kicked in door with plenty... more

First..let's be clear. There are 2 Rodeway Inn in Rutland. My experience was with the one on the road to Killington...but I understand they are both equally bad. A previous poster mentioned the "Smoking-Non smoking" room over the office (Room 142). This was my room as well. A "suite". This was neither a "Suite" or "sweet". I have stayed in... more

We went to ski at Killington for the weekend, and didn’t want to spend a ton of money at a ski lodge so decided to stay at an economy hotel a little further away from the slopes. I was thinking it would be like a Best Western or something. This place makes the Super 8 look like the Ritz. It... more

I'd booked 2 nights for myself and 3 friends for a long weekend of skiing at Killington. The room, which was one of two above the office, was supposed to have a hairdryer, clock-radio alarm, and 2-person whirlpool tub. It had none of these things. What it did have was 2 beds crammed together in a room, which was ok.... more

Ok, here is the deal.....change in our travel plans left us without a room for the upcoming night. I cancelled the already booked room in Massachusetts since we were in Maine, headed for Vermont. I phone Choice Hotels, and asked for a room with a king or queen, with a 2 person whirlpool or jacuzzi. NON-Smoking. They had one in... more

We just returned from a night, at the aptly named, Rodeway Inn in Rutland VT. We arrived around 10:30 pm. The place was closed so we had to ring the bell to get our key, no problem but I found it creepy that people were hanging out in the parking lot. The carpet in our room was gross, it looked... more
