It looks like some of these pictures may be from a different motel. I noticed that there are two Rodeway Inn's in Rutland. The motel on Main Street is white with bright blue trim/doors. It had a functional and cold pool outside. The room was old and had some areas around room that needed repair. It didn't seem very clean,... More

Although the staff was very nice, we had 2 complimentary bottles of shampoo in the room - BOTH OF WHICH WERE EMPTY. They did give us rags to clean off our motorcycles. No restaurants within walking distance.

The room's air was off and the room was musty and the sheets on bed were musty! The tub was slippery and we had people on both sides of us having parties into the night! I love the hostess at desk, but this was Not a good visit. I hope they improve it for our next visit!

Checked into Rodeway Inn, knowing it was a "value" motel & we got what we paid for... adequate accomodations for a good price. Read the reviews after we checked in & were surprised by all the bad reports. We found the room clean & roomy, though somewhat worn & dated (haven't seen blue bathroom fixtures since the 80's). The bed... More

Checked in around 2 pm, the gentleman at the counter was courteous and made check-in a fast procedure. We were given 1 key card and directed to our room. The outside of the Motel is a little rundown...the grounds were well maintained, the grass was cut, no trash on site, pool looked clean....but the exterior of the buildings could benefit... More

Stayed here for 1 night March 2014. I needed a room in Rutland and this was the only property in the area that would redeem Choice Rewards points. Middle aged man at the front desk was pleasant and helpful with local info. Room was small and dated but clean and the bed felt just fine after a 9 hour drive.... More

This is a motel that has been here for donkey's years. The management is wonderful to deal with, the rooms are well kept and clean. Being as close as it is (10 miles or so) from Killington Ski Area it is surprising that more people don't use it. The price is right, it is convenient to downtown and the ski... More

I stayed here in June of 2013 and, while the place seemed reasonably clean, it was run down. The room smelled strongly of cleaner, which was, in a way, reassuring. I didn't see any dirt, hair, or bugs anywhere in the room. The bathroom was tiny. The furniture was old and starting to fall apart. The AC worked alright, lots... More

I really didn't expect much of this motel. I've stayed in dozens of low-end, one-star properties, but very rarely do I find that one is actually dirty. I couldn't necessarily SEE the dirt here. When we walked in, the room smelled noxiously strong of cleanser, so my thought was that the place must at least be clean. Apparently I was... More

If you are looking for a budget place in Rutland, this is a good option (at least based on my experience). I see that some guests have complained about the cleanliness of this place; granted, I came across a daddy longlegs in the shower and a few strands of hair on my towel, but otherwise, I had no complaints in...
