Just stayed here on a business trip. Sallie and Larry are gracious and accommodating hosts. I would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone staying in the Rutland area. I have stayed in almost all of the chain hotels in Rutland and I won't be going back to them, ever. The breakfast is really good here too. The building is beautiful... More

Five of us from NYC took a ski trip to Killington and stayed at this wonderful place, hosted by Sallie and Larry. I had several conversations with Sallie before arrival, as my plans changed several times. She was incredibly flexible and helpful and even offered us an extra room for only a few more $$ per night! We felt like... More

This is a delightful B&B with owners that live there and are knowledgeable and great fun to talk with. The 1867 era rooms are updated and very comfortable. On the edge of Rutland, we went to this B&B following 5 hours on the Ethan Allen Amtrak, NYC-Rutland.

My boyfriend and I just stayed with Sallie at the Antique Mansion this past week and had an amazing time! We booked very last minute (the day before to be precise) and Sallie offered us a large room on the upper level of her B&B - came with an attached size able bathroom (tub/shower). The bedroom had two queens and... More

This B&B is truly a mansion; a real gem, yet Sallie makes you feel very much at home. The atmosphere is elegant but laid back. Our room was the largest we have ever had at a B&B but was lower cost than most of the places we have stayed at. The breakfast was top notch with pumpkin spice pancakes and... More

We stayed at Antique Mansion B&B as part of our New England fall trip celebrating our 25th Anniversary. The grounds were very picturesque. The house is beautiful. The original owner of the mansion was the owner of Vermont Marble and incorporated the marble into much of the house. The innkeepers, Sallie and Larry we very personable and very accommodating. The... More

We recently stayed at the Antique Mansion for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sallie was a great host and her husband Larry makes fantastic pancakes. The house is approximately 140 years old and is beautiful. We would really like to stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Antique Mansion! The house is beautiful and the grounds were really pretty. My daughter and I have a gluten issue and we were made the most delicious GFree pancakes in the morning! I always appreciate being able to have a yummy breakfast that we can eat!!! Our room was big and the bear... More

Picture a large and stately mansion with a long winding driveway, surrounded by sprawling green meadows, and nestled amongst ancient sugar maple trees, and you have just imagined the Antique Mansion B&B in Rutland, Vermont. This splendid mid-19th century home stands proudly on a beautiful hillside of old pines & hardwoods, adjacent to an equally historic and restored barn, which... More
