Our family of 4 stayed here while on a skiing trip to Killington. The location is close to the ski resort (about 20-30 minutes) as well as many other restaurants and shopping. We chose to stay here because the main thing our two boys (age 11 and 8) want when we go somewhere is a pool and not many of... More

While this did not involve a visit to tour Rutland and we were simply on the quickly the next morning this Holiday Inn was a bit disappointing as far as the sleeping quarters. The room was clean and everything therein pretty much met a standard that I would have expected it was disappointing to see that the back doors had... More

I had my high school prom here in 1991. I think the carpet is the same. It smells. In the halls and in the room. The vending machines we're all out of order. The pool was closed because a sprinkler broke. There was a toga party with a disco ball upstairs. I could see in the window and hear from... More

We stayed here while skiing in Killington that is about 30 minutes away by car. Generally I am quite satisfied with the stay. Pros: The continental breakfast buffet served in the restaurant on the premise is great. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. The room is spacious but bathroom is small. Cons: There is a little bit mold smell... More

We booked a room here as we attended an Christmas Party/Ball. Check - in was ok. Our room was on the 1st floor and super clean and comfy. The ballroom for the event was beautiful, especially the bar outside of the room, and decorations. It was a buffet style, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Chef carved prime rib, fingerling herb... As hotel chains tend to be a bit impersonal we were a little apprehensive about this stop on our tour. However, the result wasa great stay with food that was probably the best we had in the US as far a a hotel breakfast was concerned. The staff were really friendly and never too busy to help. The room was... More

Great pricing, PA system and truly outstanding food. Sales director Betty Larson makes the extra effort to ensure events are successful. It is rare to find a conference facility which gets everything right, but the Rutland Holiday Inn does. I can wholeheartedly recommend this facility for hosting large functions.

Very good hotel with large room and two double beds. Beds tended to creak a bit! Restaurant was good for breakfast but our steaks were a bit gristly and tough for dinner. The hotel is out of the centre so not much choice of dining.
