Located on Allen Street, less than one minute from Route 7 south of Rutland Vermont, this Comfort Inn is convenient to the main streets of Vermont. I generally look for Choice Hotels first and try to avoid traditional box hotels, but there are no Quality Inns in Rutland which is too bad. The hotel needs work on several areas (outside,... More

This hotel was reasonably clean, but has kind a dark decor and the hallways seemed to dark. We stayed twice and and 2 different rooms. The first night the bed was great, the second night it was terrible and needed to be replaced. Check the bed and make them give you a new room if you don't like it. Breakfast... More

Check in was ok. Room was ok until we found hair in the bath tub and the drain did not work....We had been skiing and went to the pool area with the hut tub....really bad... smelly & very moldy and the water was a strange color.....the breakfast was ok . After skiing the next day we went back to find... More

I say discomfort Inn because I was aware the whole 3rd floor was being done before I got there. What I did not expect was the extreme noise at 8am. What did not expect was the man at the desk to challenge me about the place being pet friendly. He said as of Jan they are not, yet when I told... More

this is not the cheapest, but close enough without forcing you to stay in a run down place. it is roughly twenty minutes from the slopes. the place seemed clean and new and well maintained. after looking through all the reviews for nearby motels/hotels I decided to stay here and do not regret it, will come back every time I... This hotel is in a prime location in the middle of trolley square in downtown Rutland. It is only minutes from Killington, shopping and the major highways. The rooms are clean, the service is good, but the breakfast is minimal...continental with some hockey puck eggs, etc.

Good hotel. It was clean, they have a great breakfast selection, and it was quiet. There was nothing wrong with the room, some people on here who review this hotel are way too picky. If you want to a $200 room then stay at a $200/night hotel. This place you can't beat for the price.

For around $100 a night you get breakfast, wifi, comfortable room with cable and a fridge. I've stayed at almost every hotel in the Rutland downtown area and this is the best deal in town. Hot tub and heated pool are a nice touch. It's close to Killington, about a 20 minute drive.

We stayed here for two nights while skiing at Killington. The hotel is in need of a MAJOR facelift. The carpet is wrinkled up, doors have no catch and slam easily, hallways are dark and dirty looking (they're not...carpet and wallpaper are just very old looking and in rough shape). The breakfast was average for a hotel continental breakfast, but... More

I had to arrange a last minute overnight in Rutland, VT due to a delayed return from NYC via Amtrak. With a 1AM arrival at the station, single woman in small town, I clicked for my options while waiting at Penn Station. Decided to phone the Rutland Comfort Inn office directly to see what they could do for a best... More
