We spent one night in this hotel while my wife and I were on a Fall leaf "peeping" trip thro' the Adirondacks and in Vermont. We booked here because all the other hotels we checked in Southern Vermont were fully booked or very expensive. As it was, the room charge of $147 incl tax was 50% more expensive than the... More

We had had 2 nights in a row at noisy hotels so when I called this hotel I was extremely detailed about what rooms we wanted, their location and the noise level in the hotel. Anit answered all of my questions, was extremely patient and took time to find the rooms he had that would fit our needs. He NAILED... More

After a convention in White River Junction, I drove across to Rutland. I was able easily to make a reservation for the Comfort Inn in Rutland. Even in the leaf season, the price was reasonable. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is clean and in very good condition even though I think that it was built in the 1980s.... More

I was doing the Spartan Beast at Mt. Killington the following morning. I asked the front desk clerk to have rooms close to my buddy, and they said no because they were sold out. They couldn't even get us on the same floor. There were crackers, cheese, and apple cider at check-in that was nice. The cleaning lady was in... More

We wanted to cover whole Vermont plus go to lake george so selected this hotel as it was in a center and the distance both sides was equal. The bext thing i can say about this hotel is that it was good value for the money we paid. We paid around $85 for the room. The hotel had ample parking... More

I stayed (1) night at this location because my house was being renovated. Centrally located, ample parking, close to restaurants. Rooms are fair. Clean but could use an overhaul. TV channels are ridiculous (don't plan on watching) and the bathroom was less than stellar. Excellent Night Auditor; friendly, personable and super helpful. Morning breakfast was decent. Typical for this chain.

We were traveling out of Rutland via Amtrak so we chose the Comfort Inn for proximity to downtown/amtrak and price. We paid $88 with tax and fees and I would not recommend the hotel for a higher price. We arrived very early as we caught a ride into town from Killington. With no car (we had been hiking for 9... The property still smelled a little musty, but was clean, and the desk clerk was very helpful. We only stayed one night, so I cannot rate the Housekeeping, but from the looks of things, they are good. The parking is not very good, but we did find a spot on the property. This was not a pleasure trip, and the... More

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times over the years, most recently toward the end of August 2014. I am mystified by all the negative comments I have read, because they don't reflect our experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Yes, the refrigerator was ancient and had the temperature control on the back at the... More

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was cleaned every day. I never did get a chance to use the hot tub or the swimming pool. The Staff was very helpful in suggesting places to eat.
