First, full disclosure here - we only stayed in one B&B before and hated it. It's not that it wasn't charming, but we felt as if we needed to interact with the other guests and also felt we were "private" guests in someone's house. Not the case here, at all! We arrived earlier than we were supposed to, but were... More

Great Bed and Breakfast located in the center of town. Best place to stay in Rochester!!! Very friendly and welcoming owners, very clean, great food! They offer a few different types of accommodations, including 2 bed/ 2 bath apartments with gourmet kitchen. Planning to return next year!

My husband and I and another couple just spent three nights at the Huntington House Inn in Rochester, VT. My husband and my friend were here to cycle the Six Gaps (Brandon, Middlebury, Lincoln, Appalachian, Roxbury and Rochester) over two days. We wanted to stay somewhere convenient for the cycling and ended up choosing Rochester. (There are also a lot... More

I guess you can really only have one best Inn/B&B experience, and we just had it. We've been passing through Rochester VT ("ROCHO" as my daughter and her friends now call it - I wonder if that will catch on) for the past ten years to bring/visit/collect our kids at nearby Camp Killooleet. We always wanted to stay at The... More

My wife and I booked a room at the Huntington House Inn in Rochester, Vermont to attend a friend's wedding. We loved the place. Our hosts, Scott Holtz and Bobby Cheshire were super helpful. Bobby is a terrific cook and our breakfasts were superb. The inn is clean and well kept and the landscaping is lovely. We had a great... More

If you want upscale, fancy glitter, go someplace else. If you want to go out into the heartland of Vermont and get away from it all in a small picturesque town, and stay at a great inn ... this is your place. I gave it five stars because of what it is and where it is. Sure, you could find... More

This was our second stay and it was equally enjoyable. The room was lovely with a most comfortable bed (one of us has a poor back), wi-fi, coffee in the hall. The icing on the cake of course was breakfast! And that doesn't diminish the cordiality of Bobby and Scott on landing and throughout our stay. We really enjoyed "our... More

We had never been to this part of VT before and were heading to Middlebury College. Decided to stay here to break up our travel. I was a little uncertain about staying somewhere I had never seen, but this inn was just lovely. Room was bright and spacious, and there are both casual and more formal dining options. WE chose... Stayed in Rochester and had a nice day of skiing at the Middlebury Snowbowl. The inn was a warm and welcoming retreat during a snowy Vermont weekend. With some friends we shared drinks at the Inn bar and dinner in the dining room. All of us enjoyed the meals of steaks, rotisserie chicken, and classic NE clam chowder. The breakfast... More

A wonderful Inn, warm and friendly, both Scott and Bobby will make you feel at home! A true Vermont Inn surrounded by Back Country skiing, XC skiing, down hill skiing in the cute, cozy town of Rochester, Vermont. Tavern connected is fun and funky. Breakfast is to die for. Come NOW, as there is more powder than anyone can use...you... More
