I love agriculture and food and agrotourism, and have visited many farms both in the US and internationally. While this farm advertises itself as a great place to experience farm life, it decidedly is not...plus it is laughably pricy. If it were an Inexpensive worn room with a shared untended bathroom, that would be ok I guess--but it's $240 per... More

I love farms. I regularly visit them as stops on trips and destinations. But this place is terrible. Baby cows are here, but they're in isolated little cages where they can barely turn around. Chickens are gone because they apparently pooped in guests shoes. The berry picking is two miles away. The cows are milked by machines, so you can... More

An excellent dairy farm experience in a comfortable setting! You get to stay in an old house (1820's if I recall correctly) that is beautifully maintained. Comfortable rooms and sitting areas, lovely dining room, and modernized bathrooms. Friendly hosts (Beth and Bob) who are helpful but not overbearing (too often a failing at b&b inns). The food, all locally sourced... More

Being suburban folk, we weren't quite sure how we would do on a farm!! But like most of the guests that week, we wanted our children to unplug and unwind! I cannot say enough about what a WONDERFUL vacation it was! Beth and Bob and their family are just good people, and we really enjoyed our stay with them! It... More

Our family has been coming to Liberty Hill Farm every year since 2001 when our daughters were 3 and 5 years old. Our older daughter graduated from high school in New York City last week, and the first thing we did when the ceremony ended was get in the car and drive to the farm to relax and celebrate with... We stayed at the Liberty Hill Farm for part of our Spring Break with our 5 yr old daughter. She is strongly suggesting that we go back again in the summer and cried a little at having to leave. While there, she was able to bottle feed a 2-day old calf, milk a couple cows, and play with the cats... More

We were delighted with our stay at Liberty Hill Farm this week. Beth and Bob Kennett and their family are so warm and welcoming, you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. If you didn’t do a farm stay as a child, this will satisfy the curiosity you always had about doing so, and if you... More

This is the ultimate B & B!! Lovely and warm hosts, amazing meals (thank you Beth and Lois) and a beautiful location. This is a working farm so expect activity, a little noise and interest - great for kids and adults alike. The region is also fascinating and we spent a lovely day at the Shelburne Museum (at Beth's insistence).... More

Liberty HIll Farm is not just for the kids! We were 3 fifty-somethings off on a weekend adventure looking for things to do that we still needed to check off of our life lists. Bottle feed a 3 day old calf - check....milk a cow - check. Play with the barn cats and new kittens, etc. The atmosphere on the... More
