I won a weekend at the Farm by posting my volunteer hours with the Cabot Creamery cooperative, of which this farm is a member. My husband and I went on October 17, 2014, hoping to hit the peak foliage season, but were about 1-2 weeks too late for the peak. We got awesome views in spite of that, however. It... More

The entire weekend was more than superb! We couldn't have scripted a better place for the 10 of us to come together and make beautiful memories. Beth and the entire family were more than welcoming! We'll be back for sure. The accommodations, food, and hospitality were impeccable. The Kennetts will be added to our Christmas card list for sure. They... More

A friend and I stayed one night on a quick jaunt through Vermont. The place was VERY clean, quiet, and peaceful. Beth is a terrific host and cook and truly makes you feel welcome. It's not your typical lodging and if you don't like B & B's you may not like this. You sit at their dinner table and eat... More

This summer I decided to take our children on a vacation that was something they had never previously experienced. For whatever reason, I decided to google for working farm vacations and came across the Web site for Liberty Hill Farm. The site was very warm and inviting and I decided to go ahead and make a reservation (without consulting our... More

Wow, my daughter and myself had a wonderful stay, wish it could have been longer! All the rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean! I had fun tubing, collecting wild flowers, photographing the area, and hanging with the cows, which all have different personalities, some are friendly and some shy. Thank you Beth and Bob, and all the Liberty Hill farm... More

We loved our stay at Liberty Hill Farm. Beth and her hardworking family are a warm and welcoming bunch. We spent two days at the farm but wish we could have stayed longer. Beth cooked amazing meals and we always left the table full and satisfied. We loved meeting and talking with the other guests. Our son affectionately referred to... More

I love agriculture and food and agrotourism, and have visited many farms both in the US and internationally. While this farm advertises itself as a great place to experience farm life, it decidedly is not...plus it is laughably pricy. If it were an Inexpensive worn room with a shared untended bathroom, that would be ok I guess--but it's $240 per... More

I love farms. I regularly visit them as stops on trips and destinations. But this place is terrible. Baby cows are here, but they're in isolated little cages where they can barely turn around. Chickens are gone because they apparently pooped in guests shoes. The berry picking is two miles away. The cows are milked by machines, so you can... More

An excellent dairy farm experience in a comfortable setting! You get to stay in an old house (1820's if I recall correctly) that is beautifully maintained. Comfortable rooms and sitting areas, lovely dining room, and modernized bathrooms. Friendly hosts (Beth and Bob) who are helpful but not overbearing (too often a failing at b&b inns). The food, all locally sourced... More

Being suburban folk, we weren't quite sure how we would do on a farm!! But like most of the guests that week, we wanted our children to unplug and unwind! I cannot say enough about what a WONDERFUL vacation it was! Beth and Bob and their family are just good people, and we really enjoyed our stay with them! It... More
