We didn't stay at the inn but we went to the lounge a couple of times during our weekend. The bartender and the rest of the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. We felt very much at home and well taken care of. They made us feel like old friends. The food and drinks are excellent too.

We came to Queechee and stayed at the Parker House because of the great things we had heard about the restaurant next door, Simon Pearce. Knowing that the Parker House served food as well, we decided to stay in on the first night and dine in the bar lounge downstairs, and man am I glad we did. Arriving in the... More

I was invited to a family gathering on 23rd December at the Parker House Inn. There was a great atmosphere when I walked in and carollers in the bar were making a merry Christmas feeling. It was busy but cosy, with a lovely Christmas tree and a fire. Considering how busy the restaurant was, the staff were very attentive and... More

Want to enjoy a dinner at home? Step into The Parker House Inn & Restaurant and you will immediately feel like you're one of the family. The amount of care taken to ensure a wonderful, all-around experience exceeds one's expectations. The menu is creative and the entrees are sublime. The beverages offered are aplenty and diverse. Having read the great reviews, I was anticipating a wonderful meal but was very disappointed. My husband's meal was good but my coq au vin was insipid and didn't taste of red wine in any form - the chicken was white (real coq au vin has almost purple chicken ) and the sauce was thin and pretty tasteless. The coffee... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our restaurant, we appreciate all feedback. The Coq au Vin Blanc is described on the menu as being braised with a White Sauterne wine, black truffle, Fresh herbs, and mushrooms it is more subtle in flavor than our hearty, traditional Coq au Vin Rouge, which is our Winter Bistro... My husband and I decided to jump on our motorcycle and go to Vermont for one night. We did not make a reservation which is not like us but we were fortunate enough that the Parker House had a cancellation and we were able to take the room which was located on the 3rd floor. It was very lovely and... More

When the innkeeper, Adam, says "We're here for you.", he really means it. From the comfy porch rocking chairs, to the beautifully decorated rooms, to the fabulous wine and food prepared by Alex, everything about this place is as you WISH it were at home every day. The service is friendly and attentive and the ambience is Vermont comfortable and... More

We stopped at the Parker House Inn during our road trip to Canada/US. The Woodstock room located on 1st floor was huge with nice pieces of furniture mixing the old and the design. Room was super quiet and fully cooked breakfast was good each morning. We had dinner on our first night and the food (soup of the day, chicken... More

Alex creates dishes with huge flavor. We shared the rack of lamb and the duck. Spent the evening "proving" my choice was better. Service was perfect. Adam runs the front of the house making sure your expectation are more than met. The room was charming with a great view of the river.
