My husband and I just got back today from staying at Quechee Inn. We bought the overnight package for Sunday to Monday which included a 3 course dinner and full country breakfast. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and gracious. The food was excellent and the wine was... more

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the Quechee Inn at Marshfield Farm. We found the Inn charming, the staff courteous and helpful, and the location ideal for x-country and snow shoeing. We also got a great package deal: $349 for 2 weekend nights, 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts. We had to change rooms after we arrived (reason is... more

I stayed at the Inn last year, it was a family wedding and we had all drove down from Boston. we stayed for two nights.. It was one of the weirdest experiences ever, the inn is haunted by the wife of the man who opened it in something like the 17th century, and loads of other spirits.. throughout my stay... more

Despite the fact that we had booked a one-bedroom suite for four people, there were no linens for the foldout sofabed. After searching both the suite and the public areas for some, I finally called the number posted at the front desk at about 10pm. The person that answered was somewhat grumpy, indifferent to our situation and only brought us... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Quechee Inn in September 2007 and found it a pleasant rural location if slightly pricey at $170 per night(even at 2 dollars to the British pound). I had heard quite a lot about US B&B's but I felt the breakfast to be somewhat disappointing with a very limited choice of cooked food (maybe I'm... more

The Inn has a beautiful location, the food is phenomenal, and both common areas and other guests' rooms are rather charming, but we got stuck in Room 17, which was a real disappointment. Room 17 has to be the smallest room we've ever stayed in anywhere. As we first entered the room, my wife blurted out "What a dump!" There... more

We stayed two nights at Quechee Inn in August in order to attend a family wedding on the property. We were absolutely delighted by this charming and gracious country inn and would highly recommend it to others who are vacationing in Vermont. From the moment we drove up we were struck by how beautiful the inn and its surroundings are.... more

In no way worth the $225 we paid after the discount we received for the awful experience - not only was the room dilapidated, but the lack of attention to detail was appalling. After being assured that there was air conditioning, the window unit did not work properly. In the middle of the night we were so hot that we... more

My husband and I visited VT for the first time during the Balloon Festival in June of 04. We had a very nice room and a fabulous dinner with gourmet quality food. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with a wide variety of foods. Our first morning during breakfast the hot air balloons went over the Inn and landed behind! Our... more

My husband and I stayed at The Quechee Inn about four years ago and still to this day I remember how unpleasant it was there. I had read about The Quechee Inn and it sounded beautiful. Well, don't judge a book by it's cover because it looks beautiful from the outside, but our room was another story. We had gotten... more
