Hotel is dated while better than the Ramada Inn at Brattleboro it still has issues . Room furnishings are out of date. Room not very clean, had a pen roll under the bed and it was covered in dust. I certainly don't expect a hotel to vacuum under the beds after every stay but once a month would be reasonable.... more

We hosted a large wedding (150 people) recently at the Putney Inn. We reserved the entire Inn and rooms for the event on a weekend in August. I cannot say enough about the excellent service, attentiveness by the Inn owner and special events coordinator, the setting, the food and the rooms. The warmth and care exhibited by the owner and... more

Stayed here for two nights on a special buy one night get one free summer program. The rate included breakfast for everyone in our party for both mornings too. We have stayed here for many years on and off and love their dog friendly policy. They have lots of room to walk the dogs. The room was large and had... more

We hosted over 20 guests for dinner at the Putney Inn to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Every meal we have ever had at Putney Inn has been lovely and well done/excellent, which is why we chose the Putney Inn. Our anniversary dinner was also very good. However, the service was unfortunate for the thousands of dollars we spent. We had... more

This is a great cozy "motor inn" right off Exit 4 Interstate 91 with 2 buildings- the motor inn housing the motel rooms and a beautiful main building housing a restaurant which had great food, very friendly staff & GREAT food, be it the complementary breakfast that came with our stay or dining in the evening with a good variety... more

We stayed for one night in one of the rooms in the "motor inn building," rather than the main building. We were visiting with relatives who live nearby, for Thanksgiving, and had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn. The dinner was excellent. There was more than we could eat and it was very well prepared. Our server was friendly and... more

The most wonderful time of the year. The foliage was fabulous - After a long day of sightseeing we went back to the Inn to enjoy a peaceful delightful meal. So many wonderful entrees to pick from it was a difficult decision - We would definately recommend this property for a stay anytime of the year. In addition to the... more

Our room was clean with 2 unworn chairs , color TV and 2 nice double beds and a upgraded bathroom. The grounds are spacious , so if you bring a... more

My experience matched the other negative reviews mentioning dark rooms and generic and worn furnishings. It wasn't the charming Vermont getaway I was expecting. One additional concern: The room I checked into had one tiny window next to the door, and on the other side, a set of sliding patio doors facing a parking lot. The glass doors were old,... more
