We had the most lovely, rainy night at The Comstock House. Warren and Ross are delightful and kind hosts. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds so comfy. There are gorgeous views from every window. It was incredible quiet during the night and we all slept soundly. Breakfast of zucchini frittata, delicious toast, fruit, fresh juice, coffee and tea... Our second visit to the Comstock House was this past weekend, and once again, it was a delight. Is there any way to give this place 8 stars? I consider the Comstock House to be a bit of an oasis and a delightful place to hang our hats when we're traveling through Vermont. Ross and Warren are fantastic hosts and... More

I'm not waiting until I get home to write a review of The Comstock House B & B, a class act run by Ross and Warren. I'm still here, sitting at the breakfast table of this sweet country house, looking outside at spectacular views of hills, woods, and a field in which five pretty brown cows and a small mob... More

My wife and I stayed at The Comstock House for three days on a family visit. We couldn't be happier. Warren and Ross were perfects hosts. The house was rustic, clean and comfortable. The views are breath taking....and the breakfasts superb. This is our place to stay every time in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. Warren and Ross were the perfect hosts and couldn't have been more gracious. Ross was a wealth of information about Vermont and local attractions. We stayed in the Blue Room where we enjoyed spectacular views of the Worcester Range by day and stars by night. Breakfasts were delightful... More

We are from Victoria, BC, and while on our return to Ontario (visiting family) from skiing at Killington, my boyfriend surprised me with a night at the Comstock B&B. So quaint and a really lovely home! Warren and Ross were gracious hosts, and asked if gingerbread pancakes were ok for breakfast the next morning...ah, yeah! The homemade apple sauce served... More

My mother-in-law to be found the Comstock B&B online and, with our hosts agreement, we decided to make it our wedding venue. We flew in from Florida and breathed a relaxed sigh as we exited our cars and that sense of well being stayed with us. The house is thoughtfully decorated and feels attractive and homey. It's a book lover's... More

My partner surprised me with a trip to Vermont for my birthday this year. We stayed at the Comstock House which is a very beautiful B&B. We were surrounding by nature and at night you could view the stars! We stayed in the Comstock room. It is on the second floor with large windows around the room. The view was... More

This bed and breakfast is serene and impeccable. The hosts, Warren and Ross make incredible breakfasts. The setting is utopic. I loved waking up to overlook a field of sheep with the rudy glow of sunrise. I felt like I was staying in a classic landscape painting. This is one of the highest places around, so there's a great view!... More

While I really hate to praise the Comstock House too much, fearing that this 3-bedroom beauty will become too popular with those seeking local Vermont beauty and a relaxing place to enjoy it, I will. Ross and Warren are gracious hosts who combine the best that a B&B has to offer. The breakfasts are superb, with emphasis on the homegrown... More
