Didn't get to stay here because it looks like it has been closed and vacant for quite awhile. Grass and plants look like they haven't been taken care of in at least a year. The place is vacant, the barn is gone with nothing but a crumbling foundation left, there's a large dead tree trunk in the side yard, the... more

I had the pure pleasure of staying at the Iron Master's Inn when I went to Killlington to ski with three of my friends and I have to say that it was a wonderful experience overall for many reasons. First of all, the inn is very beatiful and a historically significant one situated far in the woods next to a... more

My husband and I just came back from a wonderful stay at the Iron Masters Inn. The Innkeeper, Jeanii, opens her home to you and makes your stay an enjoyable escape. She's a worldclass cook and quite a conversationalist. We spent hours chatting with her in front of the fire, enjoying a glass of wine. The rooms are inviting, clean... more

My husband and I plus our two good friends went to this inn and had the absolute best time! We drove up from Manhattan after a much needed break from the city. The drive was amazing... the sky never looked so beautiful with all the stars. It truly looked like a planetarium! Once we got there (at 2am), Jeannii greeted... more

I have visited the Iron Master Inn twice in the past two years and look forward to another visit soon. Everything about the Inn-the warm welcome, the traditional English decor, the food, the beautifully outfitted rooms,-all are of a very high standard. The Inn is also convenient to Rutland shopping and dining. more

My husband & I enjoyed a delightful meal lovingly prepared by Jeannii the night we arrived. The Indian food was delicious & we are looking forward to tasting her Asian cuisine @ another event. Jeannii was very personable & attentive. She prepared food as art, & was genuinely interested in pleasing her guests. We indulged in delightful breakfasts on the... more

This was without a doubt the greatest stay I ever experienced at a B&B in any state. The IronMasters Inn is immaculate, the hostess is friendly, extremely kind and helpful, and she really went above and beyond the norm to make me feel at home and welcome. The food was excellent, healthy, and fresh. When I mentioned I wished to... more

From our pickup at the local airport to our drop off at our next destination in Castleton our stay with Jeannii was an experience never to be forgotten. The Inn is a beautiful building that has been lovingly restored. Jeannii's cooking was wonderful, from the big breakfasts to the gorgeous appertisers and main meals. We felt we received excellent value... more

Warning, this Inn barely rates 1 star. Instead of using the front door you are welcomed through the side door which has a row of kitty litter boxes along the way. The rooms don't have locks on the doors and the bathroom had someone's old bic razors in the shower. The third floor rooms had no bathroom so you had... more

"We had a fantastic stay at the IronMaster's Inn. Arriving in the summer with a family of 5(3 children) we found the Inn and the Innkeeper, Jeannii, to be warm, welcoming, and extremely accomodating to the tastes and needs of the entire 5 family members. The Inn itself is lovely in a country setting with nature at the back door.... more
