If your looking for a laid back ski in ski out in the area this is it. If your wanting posh rooms and 5 star dining look elsewhere. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is good and they have a small bar with a pool table. Yes this hotel is older and dated. The rooms we stayed in... more

After reading some of the reviews given for this hotel, I was kind of worried about staying here. I am glad that we decided to take a chance and go despite the reviews. The location is great, the room was comfortable, the kids loved the pool, and the restaurant offered a variety of nightly specials. We had a wonderful time... more

Where should I start? The parking lot was a sheet of ice, no attempt to sand or salt. The elevator was shabby, very slow and didn't go to the 4th floor. You had to get off at the third floor and go up the stairs to the 4th floor. I avoided using the elevator for most of my stay. Prior... more

Stayed at Bromley Sun Lodge 5 occasions in the past 10 years. Most recently, during the holiday break in December 2007. This is an old lodge that has some charm. We recently learned of a management change and were skeptical since the last visit to the lodge a few years back was overpriced and very poorly run. But, my child... more

I read some of the reviews here and wasn't sure what to expect. We went up to Bromley Mountain resort for Labor day weekend with the family. Our children just had a great time. The hotel room was clean and the staff was pleasant. We found our selves in the lobby with our girls (4 and 7) playing a variety... more

convenient location for "Thrill Zone" and skiing, but the place needs major renovations. There were bugs in the bed, mold and cobwebs in the room and on the balcony, the elevator smelled, there was garbage in the hallways and the included breakfast was meager. The owners were nice enough, but nothing special. I didn't dare walk barefoot on the carpet... more

Our family spent St Patrick’s weekend up at Bromley Sun Lodge and found it to be perfect for us. The game room and pool kept our kids happy when they weren’t on the slopes. By the way, this hotel is on the slopes. We found that alone to be worth the trip. Lobby was very nice, our room was nice... more

I stayed at this hotel several years ago when I attended a wedding at the So. Vt. Arts Center. It was a dump. The air conditioning was substandard. There was this dog just hanging out in the lobby all day. On my way to the room, I actually had to step over him to get to the stairwell. While I... more

We are sorry to here of the experience you had three years ago. Since than the hotel has been under new ownership and has gone through major renovations. All New A/C's, new lobby and upgraded guest rooms just to name a few. The dog, as much as you liked it, was the old owners and went with them. We hope...

I went for three nights during President's week, for the second year in a row. I was there again with my daughter and this time with one grandson and his friend, both 13 years old. Again, we had a great time! I don't know how anyone could not be pleased with this hotel. You walk into an attractive lobby with... more

I am still fuming. For the money charged, this is the worst place I have ever stayed! I paid astronomical prices for a NO STAR hotel! You can't have a good time skiing if you feel cheated and or gouged. The brochure looks great , when in person its another thing.. First their pricing policy is subject. You can't tell... more
