We stopped by the area for one night and I picked the Norwich Inn based on location, size of room (able to fit 5 people in one room, rather than having to pay for 2 rooms), and price. We were not disappointed! First of all, the location (right across the river from Dartmouth and easy to find) can't be beat.... More

The Norwich Inn is a superb facility. We stayed mid week and utilized their mid week package.. The package was for 2 nights with 2 full breakfasts. The meals were excellent. Attentive service, and charming ambiance. We stayed in newly renovated Walker House. It has all updated amenities, with a fireplace, and towel warmers. Jasper's Pub is great. Pub fare... More

Hotels, resorts and inns use the term "guest" liberally but never have I been a patron paying for a room where I felt like a long lost friend. The Norwich Inn achieves this in quaint Vermont fashion. From the first time I called needing a last minute accommodation to my latest and fourth stay in a year, everyone has gone... More

Was able to get a room for the second night of my Dartmouth graduation visit. This time I stayed in a room in The Ivy Lodge. It was beautiful and had every convenience. The bathroom and walk-in shower was beautiful. I selected "Ivy Lodge" accommodations as I desired a refrigerator in my room. The individual "in-room" air conditioner worked perfectly.... More

Like an good friend, this great place welcomes you back even after several years have passed. It's as good as I remembered from six years ago. The front porch is a very good place to wait for people who are running a bit late, and the front parlor makes a great place to sit and talk after a good meal.... More

Just visited for a 4-night mid-week stay and everything was great. The breakfasts were part of the package and the choices were ample and scrumptious. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Dinner choices are simple but tasty and the beer from the brewery was to die for. I've become a "whistling pig" devotee. The rooms were clean and comfortable.... More

Recently we held a work event at the Norwich Inn so I had an opportunity to experience an overnight stay, the restaurant, event logistics, staff support and food service for a group of 25. I have managed lots of events over the years including some at five star hotels. By far, the Norwich Inn was superior. My room was in... More

We stayed at the Norwich Inn when we took classes at King Arthur. It was very nice and the staff were very personable. However, much to our surprise, there was not a coffee pot or a microwave in the room. Both are amenities that I have grown accustomed to and expect. We had to walk across the parking lot to... More

We booked two nights in February when I took two classes @ King Arthur Flour, which is less than five minutes away. It was our first stay here and surely will not be the last. From the phone booking to requesting an arrival a day early because of an impending major nor'easter this was a superb experience. We stayed in... More

I stayed here for one night when in the area for a King Arthur Cooking School class. I liked that I was within a 5-minute drive to this culinary destination, and the Inn proved to be a very nice experience for my lodging. I stayed in the newer building behind the old Inn, but I spent some time exploring the... More
