We pedaled to the North Hero House from just south of Burlington, VT. After riding along Lake Champlain on the Burlington Bike Path, we took the Local Motion bike ferry, a great and picturesque way to avoid traffic on Rte 2. When we arrived at NHH, we were pleased to find that our room had a spectacular view of the... More

This is our second stay at this fabulous Vermont inn. I'm a musician and had a show at a private residence on Lake Champlain for the second year in a row. My wife & I are from Manchester; the home of some of the finest restaurants in New England. When we travel we use our hometown restaurants as our benchmark... More

We stayed in the main house (inn) and enjoyed our room with a screen porch and rockers overlooking the lake.. The pub was good for an evening drink and snack and the restaurant was very good as well. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the main house on the third floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, but that wasn't a problem for us. Loved the breakfast and I was very impressed with the bar food and customer service. We took advantage of the hot tub and enjoyed star gazing with the lapping shore only a few feet away. I would... More

If you've ever wanted to visit "the islands" but didn't want to leave the continental United States, head on up to Lake Champlain. It's true what they say about time slowing down while you're visiting the islands. The pace seems to kick back a notch and the days become longer when your sitting on your balcony looking out at the... More

Just got back from a two day getaway. We've been coming here for years and enjoy it every time. The views of the lake and mountains are fantastic. The food is top-notch and the service was what we are used too. Speaking of service, a tip of the hat to David, Becky and Sam.You helped make our trip memorable.

Came across this B&B hotel on a whim for weekend getaway and found it to be perfect. After a day of cycling around Burlington, we drove north and found location and amenities to be perfect location for a weekend get away. Although touted as great place to cycle, the one down side to this place is its location on Route... More

Stayed here for a wedding at another B&B. Lovely enough, we had a lake view room on the first floor. Comfortable bed, decent basic bathroom. For $300+ a night though I am not sure we'll be back- it's a nice place but not that nice. You're on a busy road so parking is a little tricky when the lots are... More

We wanted a romantic room right on the waters of Lake Champlain and this certainly was just that. We stayed in the Southwind building on the top floor overlooking the water. It had a porch with rocking chairs on it. It was a great place to have our glass of wine and look out over the water. The breakfast (included... More
