Impeccable service and immaculate rooms is what you can expect from Shore Acres. It's a low key resort with a beautiful, long shoreline. There's a dock, a floating dock and stone beach; ideal for water activities. Tennis courts, golf, kayak rental are a few of the amenitites you can take advantage of. As a family-owned wholesome Midwestern-type place, it attracts... More

I've visit shore acres a few times each year by boat. It's my special treat. Here's what I love. Staff, trained to perfection. No attitude. No vibe. Completely and utterly helpful. Love them! Food. Again perfection. First class all the way. Now the bar. If you are of discerning tastes and appreciate all things bar to perfection...this is for you.... More

We discovered Shore Acres on our way down from Montreal ten years ago, attempting to avoid the long wait at customs on 87, so we crossed the border at Rouses' Point and were surprised to find this exquisite vacation resort. We have been coming every year, extending our stay each year to a few more days, a few more frequently.... More

We had stayed at Shore Acres two years ago when passing through the area and decided to stay again. However, we made our reservation on short notice so the only room available was in a house back away from the lake. It started raining in the evening and the sound of the rain on the roof with outside temperatures warm... More

I got a special "Jump away" coupon and used it for a relaxing get away for my husbands birthday. Great deal which was one night stay, bottle of wine, 20% off dinner and breakfast all for $137 plus tax. We were the only guests that stayed over night this Saturday. Although it might have been nice for the Hosts to... More

A beautiful, relaxing place to spend some time. I was only able to spend one evening there but would be one of my top priorities to visit again for a longer stay. The food was outstanding, hosts were gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to take some nice walks around the property, played some... More

This is really a great inn and restaurant. Beautiful grounds overlooking the lake, lots of seating out on the green area and views from the rooms. I was traveling with my dog and it is very pet friendly but doesn't smell like a pet friendly accommodation. Lots of room for my dog to run. It was such a relief after... More

Not quite a motel and not quite a B&B, Shore Acres has individual rooms fanning out from a central lobby and dining room. All rooms and the restaurant face Lake Champlain 10 or 20 yards away. Every room has 2 chairs outside to just sit and view the ever-changing lake view. As others have observed, don't expect a lot of... More

A favorite of ours. If you are looking for lots of action, resort activities, night life, etc....then this is not for you. Which is why we love it. Beautiful location on the lake,..quiet, gorgeous views and very good restaurant. Tennis, boating, practice golfing...all available. Rooms are comfortable, clean and ours always has a great view of the lake. Not far... More

It can be hard booking on line because you don't always get what was promised. Happily, it wasn't the case here. Beautiful place, immaculate room, friendly staff. It's like staying at an expensive lodge and I wish we were staying more than one night.
