What a wonderful gem! We stayed one night about a week before Christmas. The room and private bath were luxurious, clean and very comfortable. Our breakfast the next morning was worthy of any gourmet restaurant, and Mim was a very gracious and friendly hostess. We were happy to hear that well behaved dogs are welcome and we will definitely return... More

In my job, I travel a lot for work but when traveling to the northern Vermont, the hotel options are somewhat limited-- no Marriott Courtyards, no Hamptons. While those hotel choices are somewhat lackluster, at least you usually know what to expect. But in this region of Vermont, there are no chains. I've stayed at some lovely BnBs and some... More

Quite simply, this is the best Bed and Breakfast I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in many. The setting at Cliff Haven is idyllic, the rooms beautifully appointed, the breakfasts delicious and the welcome gracious. Can't wait to return.

Just the US side of the Vermont/Quebec border, if you are visiting the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont there is no better place to stay than Cliff Haven Farm B&B. Mim is a wonderful hostess, with beautifully decorated rooms and communal spaces. The farm itself is perched on high ground overlooking the spectacular Lake Memphremagog. Breakfast was superb, and the whole... More

For the second year in a row, our group of college friends, fifty-five years in the making, came to Cliff Haven Farm for a few days to catch up. Coffee in the common room, lovely breakfasts (Thank you, Mim), and happy hour in the gazebo were just a few of the highlights of our visit. We took a trip on... More

mim is a fantastic host. The setting is very beautiful with the lake in front and the rolling hills at the back. Excellent breakfast prepared by her very morning. Comfortable rooms and nice view during the sunrise of the hills.

We just spent one day on our way from Boston to Canada. We stayed in the Chocolate room, a charming room with tasteful decoration and an amazing view over the hills and the lake. Mim is very nice, very flexible and answered about a thousand questions the kids asked about the lake, the history of the Inn, how Maple syrup... More

Located high up on a hillside overlooking a 23 mi. long lake, part of which in US and Canada, and views of some of the Green Mts. It is 5 mi outside of town, but an easy drive back in for entertainment & meals, making it a restful place to spend a couple days. It is on a paved country... More

My husband and I have spent a week at Cliff Haven B & B visiting family, friends and the exploring. It has been excellent from the first step thru the door, with a greeting from Mim, the owner. It has a unique and truly Vermont decor. From the antique furnishings throughout to the quilts used for shower curtains to cover... More

We chose this place because of the reviews. They were right. Lovely, charming, peaceful. A great place to relax on the 300 acre property. The views from the hill are amazing. They were written up in June or July 2015 Yankee Magazine. There are hiking trails that are maintained from the back of the house that lead up their hill... More
