The rooms are pleasant and clean but customer service in non-existent. They advertise wifi but unless you're near the office you can't get it. There is no elevator and they refused to change our room to the first floor. The front desk clerk kept saying she could not do anything because the owner was not there. They all need a... More

The Newport City Inn is an okay place to stay, the rooms are clean but are not spacious. There isn't a refrigerator or microwave in the rooms but there is a coffee maker. The rates are decent. Furthermore they have free secure Wi-Fi, though they seemed to be having router problems when I was there. The front desk staff is... More

We were traveling through and needed a place to stay. All the regular, known chain hotels/motels were, to me, way overpriced for a quick bed for the night ($170-$250 a night). We came across the Newport City Inn and Suites and they had a King bed room for $100 (think it was about $114 after taxes and such). We were... More

The room in the new building was comfortable with strong wifi. We appreciated the breakfast to get the days going. The only surprise for us was that the hot tub near the pool did not have working jets. The desk said they were quite aware. Maybe a safety issue but disappointing. We would choose to stay here again. Super friendly... More

This is a really charming hotel with small, cozy rooms but very clean & well kept. I wouldn't eat breakfast here since the Brown Cow is just up the street and is a great greasy spoon breakfast place... The rooms are always comfy, I stay here at least once a year during the summer. The A/C works really well, the... More

I spent 3 nights at the Newport City Inn and Suites. My room was quite small but adequate. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The Television had a good selection of channels available. The bathroom was very small, but the shower had good pressure and was clean. The continental breakfast was disappointing as no fruit juice or... More

We had booked a night at another motel but we weren't happy with the accommodations. Our trip was for leaf peeping and we were desperate for another place to stay. We called the Newport City Inn and Suites and the front desk person was very kind and sympathetic to our cause. They had one room left. It was in a... More

We stayed one night. The room is small. We did have problems having enough room to open our suitcases. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot. Internet was fast and TV had tons of channels. Breakfast was adequate. Great coffee, yogurt, bagels, toast, juice, mini muffins, boiled eggs, oatmeal. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and... More

This was my third stay at the Newport City Inn but it had been about three years since last stay. The rooms have been updated and I find everything to be pretty clean. I just wish the sleeping area of the rooms was a little bigger here. I stayed in the Memphregog Suite which had a whole other room with... More

Thank you for your review! I do agree that the Magog Suite is a little tight in the sleeping area. Perhaps we could reconfigure the space to make it more accommodating to couples. The rate is higher then our standard rooms, due to the attached full kitchen. Our rooms with 1 Full size bed are the smallest rooms of the... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night after it had been suggested to us by a friend. The woman at the front desk was friendly and went out of her way to change our reservation to a main floor room after seeing my spouse required crutches. The room was clean and adequate. The shower was good and there was... More

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comment on our clerk going above and beyond to accommodate your husband, as she had told me your husband just recently had been put on crutches. I only wish that you would have called the Front Desk to let us know about the issues with your room. If we dont know there... More
