This was a wonderful bed and breakfast. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating. We stayed in the Aster Suite at the top of the house with our two boys (ages 1 & 3) when we went to visit my sister, who was in nearby Johnson. First off, the suite was very well decorated, perfect for kids but romantic too.... More

We stayed at the Village Victorian for a week and had a wonderful experience. It was in a good location between Stowe and Smuggler's Notch providing easy access to both. While it would have been nicer to stay directly in Stowe, prices are outrageous there and this provided the perfect compromise. The room was clean, comfortable and charming. The common... More

My (grown)daughter and I stayed four nights in the attic suite of Ellen and Phillip's charming Victorian home, surrounded by comfortable furnishings, doll houses, and other treasures this lovely couple has furnished their home with. Breakfast was incredibly delicious (we woke ever morning to the heavenly smell of bacon and coffee brewing) and we found ourselves lingering around the table... More

This B&B is very charming country style Victorian. We stayed in the Primrose room which is nicely decorated with antiques. The room was comfortable and clean. Philip and Ellen were excellent hosts and know the area very well. We enjoyed 2 mornings of family style breakfast with uniquely prepared crisp bacon and a delicious maple cream for our waffles and... More

We stayed here 2 nights. We loved everything about it. The B&B is only 8 miles from Stowe. Yet, it's so much more affordable, & so much nicer. It's beautiful & quiet. Phillip & Ellen are wonderful. They own, operate & live at the inn. Breakfast is served family style. The food was great. It was fun to visit with... More

My husband and I spent one night there. The owners were very friendly. I was a little disappointed in our room. The bedrooms were stated as elegant, which I did not find that true of the Pickwick room. Downstairs family room was very nice. Breakfast was fresh fruit, cheese, bacon and waffles. We did enjoy talking with the other guest... More

We booked the Pickwick room for 2 nights. The owners were very welcoming. The entire place was simply decorated and clean. Although the place could be dusted a bit better it was very clean and the breakfast was good. Mount Mansfield is about an hour drive and the owners gave excellent directions as to were to park and other driving... More

My husband and I stayed at Village Victorian B&B in September for six days and I cannot praise Philip and Ellen enough. These two people made our stay comfortable and so easy. It was nice chatting with them when we found some time to just talk. We had such a wonderful time. The morning breakfasts were the best because we... More

Spent two nights here in June, very welcoming owners. Breakfast was great and perfect for the morning we climbed Mansfield. A little far from the mountain, but Morrisville itself is very nice. Make sure you go to the Bee's Knees for dinner and stop by Moogs for a drink. We'll be back! More

Village Victorian feels a little like you're staying with relatives in an ordinary home. The style is casual, not fancy, which is perfect for some people. Sound-proofing is not the best. There is a nice deck outside and a large sitting room. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. It is served family style, which is fine if you happen to end... More
