I've been staying at the Econolodge Montpelier on business for several years. Over that time the quality of the rooms has improved considerably as a result of ongoing renovations undertaken by the management. The staff is very courteous and helpful and tries to accommodate individual requests. I once forgot my phone charger and the desk attendant let me borrow one... More

I'm a frequent traveler and I usually stay at an Econo Lodge - I must say that this Econo Lodge was, hands down, the nicest one I have ever stayed in. The room I stayed in was very modern - warm lighting, comfortable contemporary furniture (with a desk!) and a huge flat screen TV. The room was spotless and it... More

My sister and I stayed here in March and it was perfect for what we paid for it. The room was big and beds were very comfortable, the man in reception was nice and we had a great chat with him about cricket in Ireland and he was helpful while we looked for a taxi. The walk to the center... More

Not exactly the Four Seasons, but no complaints about the property. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, etc. Nice, helpful staff. They were particularly nice about refunding my money after I needed to check out a day early...I'd paid in advance through Booking.com and they didn't give me any trouble about a refund, even though it was a weekend... Booked a room with two double beds for $70 a night. Working heat. It was clean. The shower had hot water. The rooms smelled like cleaning product and not cigarette smoke. Bonus points -- only a 10 minute walk to downtown. Not sure what else I could ask for at this price point.

We didnt arrive until about 7.30pm and were told my credit card had expired and they were considering giving our room to a walk up. Thank goodness they didn't. Otherwise everything was exactly what we expected. The rooms were exaclty what we expected, the breakfast was basic but sufficient and the staff were lovely. A great place to stay and... More

Thank you Jen for your nice review and we where happy to hear you had a good time with us minus the noisy person above you. We would have moved you if we had known. I needed to find a reasonably priced hotel to accommodate my almost 2 week long stay in Montpelier and after comparing prices, econolodge was the only option. The price was very reasonable and the lodge was close to downtown which was critical because I didn't have a car so had to walk my way around town. Free wifi and free... More

My husband and I spent one night here and it was a completely adequate room and hotel. The room was large and clean, if a little dated. There was a small piece of tile missing in the bathroom, down by the floor, behind the door...no big deal. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby is lovely with its... More

I felt that my room here was as comfortable or even more so than rooms I've paid 3 times the price for. it was quiet and clean. Two things I love to have when traveling. My only complaint would be the shower head leaked. I'll stay there again next time I'm passing through.
