The Comfort Inn in Montpelier is a nice Comfort Inn but the amenities and friendly staff puts this one at the top of the list!! Lobby has coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, lemon water, cookies & milk, canned pop. Rooms have Kuerig coffee makers featuring local Green Mountain coffee and bottled water for free. The staff was very friendly and... More

The comfort inn is very conveniently located off 89. The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. The staff (Mitch was awesome) provided exceptional service and even knew my grandmother whose funeral I was in town for. The beds were reasonably comfortable (I don't sleep well in anything but my own bed). I would absolutely stay he again... More

Looking at the other reviews, I feel like mine will look the same. Not a bad thing, as it reinforces the evidence that this property is doing things right. Right from the turn off the highway, the place is nice looking and inviting. In the reception area are very friendly and helpful staff in a clean and warm reception area.... More

Staying at the Comfort Inn at Maplewood during our frequent trips to Vermont is a pleasure. This hotel goes above and beyond to make sure customers are comfortable, (customer service is 5 star - seriously). All the little amenities (daily local newspaper, including Sunday, pure Vermont Maple Syrup, decent breakfast, fresh coffee and cookies, attentive and professional staff ) begin... More

Stayed here on business for two nights midweek in January 2016. The entire facility was immaculately clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and responsive. Late at night, I discovered my bathtub was plugged, and when I talked to the front desk they said they could send someone over whenever I wanted. The problem was fixed by two very friendly... More

It's always a pleasure to stay at your hotel. The staff is cheerful and so welcoming. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. I stayed in your king suite above the service desk and it was gorgeous. The coffee, tea, sodas and cookies are always such a treat and the breakfasts are delicious. The king bed with it's 6... More

We stayed in a king suite which was clean and roomy. The breakfast was good. My favorite part is the real maple syrup at breakfast. Love that. They also have free coffee and small sodas in the lobby for guests as well as free wifi.

Excellent hotel with pleasant decor, clean, quiet, and friendly staff. Our room had separate living and bedroom areas. Moderately priced. Large parking lot. Hot breakfast included. Appleby's restaurant next door is good option for dinner. Will stay here in future.

On the limited availability of trails at Smugglers Notch. We had an hour drive to the mountain Tuesday morning, after a 2 hour drive from home Monday afternoon, 12/21/15. Breakfast was bacon and eggs, sausage and French toast, Vermont Maple Syrup, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and a donut. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The lobby had chocolate... More
