The room we stayed in was the suite. It was very nice, although understand that the camera works miracles on making this hotel seem bigger than it is. Our check in was delayed by about 2 hours. Hotel staff made up for this by providing my friend and I with one free breakfast meal voucher each. Everything else about the... more

We often stay with the Marriott brand, and so we stopped by after a busy day passing through the area, without a reservation. The proposed rate was unreasonably and atypically high and the gentleman at the desk was low energy and nonchalant, so we went elsewhere....got a wonderful room at one of the beautiful smaller inns in town at a... more

The rooms at his courtyard were pretty typical. The bathroom was larger than the usal courtyard with the sink within the bathroom. The frontdesk people were both friendly and helpful re: sites, restaurants and routing. Stayinf in Middlebury is perfect if leaf peeping is your objective. more

Not a glitch throughout the stay: good service, plain but nice room, clean pool, decent breakfast buffet, and excellent location. Breakfast costs 9.99 per person, so keep that in mind if you are considering a "stay for breakfast" rate. The only potential downside is the price. more

We traveled with our infant and the hotel staff was very accomodating and we thought the location was good for our purpose of being in Middlebury. The room was clean. The breakfast in the morning was great. more

I may be a little prejudiced because I am a Marriott Rewards member but this Courtyard is by far a lot better than most ... and those others are pretty good. Sure it may be a little expensive but you usually get what you pay for. The location is on Route 7 just a minute from downtown Middlebury. The staff... more

Located on Rt 7, just a few minutes south of the town of Middlebury. Got upgraded based on Marriott gold status to a nice corner room with a fireplace. Plenty of room for a crib and the pull out bed. Pool and hot tub was nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was OK. Buffet was not refilled, so... more

My wife and I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. We got group rates for an affair we attended over the weekend. We paid $165 per night plus tax. Breakfast was not included, but for nine or ten dollars you could get it in the hotel restaurant. We asked for a small refrigerator and kept fruit and juice in... more

We stayed in the Marriot Courtyard Middlebury while visiting Middlebury College in April. The hotel is convniently located to the college and "downtown." Our room had 2 queen beds, was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large, with good size towels and quality soaps. The breakfast had a a large variety of items, and the seating was ample, even... more

This was our second time staying here. The hotel seemed very quiet, which is fine by me. The pool was too cold the first day. Sure enough, on day two, they had fixed whatever problem they had and the pool was great. The staff is helpful - the place is clean. The price seems high - but we enjoyed our... more
