During our recent college tour over spring break to Middlebury, we stayed here at the Middlebury Inn. We loved everything about our stay at the Middlebury Inn. It's located right in the center of town, within walking distance to the college, the downtown restaurants, a co-op grocery store... The main building definitely feels like you're staying at a historic New... More

It is 22 years since i first stayed here and other than the Mexican in Middlebury is now a very good thai it has not changed that much. The inn gave us a complementary room upgrade as it was not that busy. the kids appreciated the free scones and cookies provided as afternoon tea. After dinner the girls were still... More

we stayed for one night while looking at the college with our son. the staff was firiendly and helpful, so no complaints in that regard, but i'm being kind by saying that the inn has seen better days. the decor is typically new england, but super old-fashioned (lace runners, plastic flower arrangements, random black and white portraits). the furniture is... The Middlebury Inn is a beautiful property. We stayed in late March. This Inn does customer service very well. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We stayed on the second floor and our room was lovely. This is not a sleek and modern hotel, but it has such old world charm and grace that it takes you back to an... More

We love the Middlebury Inn because we can bring our two springer spaniels. They allow the annex area to be for dogs and their owners. That said it is always clean and the staff are friendly. The Inn is beautiful inside and there is plenty to do in the area. We will definitely go back!

I've just returned from a one night stay at the Middlebury Inn as part of a run around New England visiting colleges. I wish we could have stayed more, as we had a lovely time in this lovely old inn. The inn sits on a slight rise on one end of the town of Middlebury. The welcome when we arrived... More

The inn has nice character especially in the lobby and sitting area but the room was very old. It had an old heater that was like an air conditioner unit. The bathroom was freezing as the heat couldn't get in there to heat. The bed was comfortable but the room was very small even for 2 people.

We were travelling through the New England states coming back from a visit to Salem and Boston. Had made a reservation to stay at this elegant old hotel and we were not disappointed. Came for one night and stayed for a second night. The hotel is beautiful...meticulously maintained.... a grand old hotel with a wonderful ambiance. None of the floors... More

I knew there was a reason we love Canadians! What nice comments, especially with the challenging weather we've been having this winter. The Middlebury Inn is a great place to visit either on your way someplace else or as a final destination. Not everyone will be able to stay an extra night like you did, but what a nice way... More

My husband and I decided to go to Vermont for our honeymoon, he chose the Middlebury Inn, I was a little skeptical, but it was our honeymoon so I was also hopeful. When we called to book the room, we were upgraded to a suite which was really nice. When we got there, and went up to our room, we... More

We're honored that you chose our Inn for you wedding celebration and happy that you loved your room. It is one of our nicest and although we don't have a 'bridal suite' per se, this is a good candidate. I also appreciate your comments about my dining staff. Gloria and Marcia are gems who have been with us for years... More
