Stated here on a Saturday night. Booked last minute with no issues. Loved the old creeky floors. We loved the historic building. Nice little bar on first floor. Nice beds and bathrooms. Loved the 11:00 am checkout time. Would stay there again if ever in Middlebury again.

Lovely hotel with real character. We were given a free room upgrade as we stopped in a quiet period, the room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Front desk folks super nice. Rooms very clean. Excellent updated bathrooms. Eclectic charm, great antique, hotel operated elevator. Very friendly service. Quick at every request. Great location for this beautiful little town. Wasn't a fan of their restaurant Morgan's. Service was good but food was unremarkable and the cocktails way overpriced. Very noisy. All in all, a real, nice, charming... More

We found a deal on Travelzoo for 2 nights, a $25 voucher at the restaurant and buffet breakfast for both days. For the price we spent on travelzoo, we would do it again in a heartbeat. We also booked the stay when the town had a beer and wine festival which may the stay extra fun. We loved the decor... More

We received a complimentary room upgrade to one of the suites. It was a good size considering being part of a historical building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, close to restaurants and bars in the centre of the town.

Enjoyed one night at at the Middlebury to cap off our three week driving tour of New England. On arrival they upgraded us (we had booked a CAA rate) and we had a huge room in the main inn. It was really charming and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Best part was enjoying (complimentary) afternoon... More

We were there for foliage season. Finding a place was really difficult so I was ecstatic when there was an opening for the Inn. We stayed at a deluxe room, located in the Porter House, facing the side street. We came in pretty late and the clerk (Harrison) was very welcoming. The Inn is big -does not feel claustrophobic- and... More

We stayed one night in Middlebury while driving through Vermont. The Middlebury Inn is a charming, traditional style inn with antique furniture and some of the drawbacks that come with being an old building. The rooms were moderately sized and comfortable and clean, but the original building is a bit of a maze of stairs and hallways with some cobwebs... More

This was my second visit to the Middlebury Inn -- the first was nearly 20 years ago. Much has changed. On my first visit, I stayed in the main Inn, which is lovely and has been carefully tended and updated over the years. It continues to be a true gem. On this visit, we were lodged in the annex --... Arriving early is not pleasant here. Asked to pre-register and show AAA card whose info was carefully documented(overkill.) Returning close to actual check-in time was still not acceptable except for our sister-in-law whose room was ready because desk clerk Patricia said "I like you."Finally got to our room to be greeted by a view of a rooftop and other hotel...
