This place is clearly a ski lodge, and it looks like it would be a lot a fun in the winter if this place is still open in December. Huge sunken fireplace in the main lodge, indoor pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar. I'm not sure it is worth it during the summer. Restaurant was more of a convenience... More

I stayed here two nights. My room was paid for by family, so I cannot speak to the overall value of the place. But I was happy with my experience. The room was perfectly adequate. Quite basic: functioning clean bathroom, two beds, and a tv. The back porch area off the room was a nice touch. I went with several... More

I have stayed at Cortina several times prior to purchasing property in Killington. On all of my stays, the service and the hotel was always above and beyond. However, after my most recent....that is no longer the case. The hotel is becoming run down, even after a so called remodel? The wallpaper is peeling and it looked as though there... More

The room was filthy. Wall paper was peeling odd the walls. The main wall had what appeared to be blood splattered all over the wall. I took pictures bc it was that gross. I awoke looking forward to a nice breakfast but was highly disappointed. I went down at 830am abs the only thing left was bagels and cereal even... More

For a spontaneous, last-minute trip, I did some quick searches on the internet and decided the Cortina Inn looked nice and charming, and at a great price too. When I say last minute, I mean we booked at 4pm for that same night. Excited, we quickly packed our things and drove 2.5 hours (and through a torrential downpour!) to Mendon,... More

We stayed at Other hotel last year. The Cortina Inn and Resort was far better. Superb service. Beautiful hotel. Great location. Welcoming to families. The hotel was 100 percent booked over Labor Day weekend in addition to weddings, at no point did it feel busy or crowded. Highly recommend for a visit to Mendon.

I have stayed here for years, this trip they lost me. The place is run down, outdated and in sad shape. Peeling wallpaper, broken Hot Tub, pool was freezing, the awesome old buffet breakfast was eliminated. front desk clerk could not speak english, he screwed up my reservation.

Four of us stayed at Cortina for 5 days in Sept. 2012, and found everything was fine. So when husband and I decided to take some vacation in VT last month, we didn't hesitate to book with Cortina again. The front desk person, Juan, was very nice but he couldn't make up for defects. This time, our room was next... More

Disclaimer: We were here in the summer, not during ski season. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean. It was nice being on the first floor so we could easily bring our bags to our room through the door that led from our room directly to the parking lot. Included Continental breakfast was make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, fruit, english... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Cortina Inn during the Killington Stage Race. I am pretty fussy about my hotel accommodations, and this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a craftsman style entrance, and the lobby is nice with a large fireplace. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our hotel room had a large original wooden... More
