I have to say, Connie the front desk manager, made my stay so great. She is extremely kind and knows just about everything in the area. She was able to point me in the right direction for restaurants, wineries, to where to get snow tires when I need them! The breakfast is outstanding by the way..filling and plentiful!! I will... My son recently moved to VT and recommended that we booked at the Mendon Mountainview Ldoge when we recently visited (since he has a studio apartment) We have travelled extensively and were delighted with the service and accommodations. In particular we were very impressed with Connie who treated us like we were visitors at her home. Her warmth and hospitality... More

My husband and I stayed here overnight for a wedding nearby. Connie and the rest of the staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful! This will be our first choice for lodging when we return. The hotel and our guest room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed-including a very comfortable bed. They have a full hot breakfast buffet... More

The lodge was clean and the rooms were nice. They have their own chef. Breakfast is outstanding. All of the employees were friendly and very accommodating. I was with a group of 43 and everyone only had nice things to say. The furniture is a bit outdated but we didn't mind. We would rather have great service any day. That... More

Stayed 2 nights. Hotel is older and needs renovating. That said, it was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was great, both made to order as well as buffet offered on second day. Loved that you could open windows for fresh mountain air. If you don't mind an older, simpler hotel, great value.

I went with the primary goal of stargazing. As soon as I arrived (at 10pm) a friendly receptionist received us with good humor and suggestions as to where to go and see clear skies. It so happens that the outside deck was perfect and he even told me that I could unplug the outdoor lights for a better view. It... More

This is our 2nd visit and we plan on returning next year. Last year it rained almost 1 full day and this lodge had a great game room, tv room, sauna, heated pool (outdoor pool) so we had plenty to keep us occupied. This year the weather was gorgeous and the staff made sure we had things to do and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here and had a lovely time. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The place in general could probably use some upgrades but nothing that negatively affected our stay. In the morning we brought our breakfast passes to the dining room and enjoyed an amazing breakfast buffet. We both loved the breakfast potatoes and ate... More
