We have stayed here a few times & been happy every time. The Owners are delightful & knowledgable about the area. The rooms are impeccable, the retro furnishings are perfect for the era of the Motel. Breakfast is homemade and served with Vermont coffee, Tea, Maple Syrup & a smile. Great Location to explore all the great stuff Vermont has... More

I highly recommend this as an affordable, clean and pet friendly place to stay in a lovely location convenient to many things we wanted to visit in Vermont. It is such a scenic and unspoiled area. The innkeepers are very accommodating. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. The breakfast offered on location is delicious. I definitely want to return!

The Marshfield in is everything you could ask for. The owners Tracy and Diana are the nicest people and take excellent care of the room and surrounding grounds. Rooms are good sized, Bed is very comfortable, small fridge in the room...TV/Cable and really nice bathroom. No smoking in the rooms but comfy chairs and sand buckets are provided outside. Two... This is a small, old time motel. It is immaculately clean and the owners are delightful. The towels are fluffy and the beds are comfortable. They also offer breakfast for a modest additional fee. This place is for sure a great bargin.

This place is an old fashion motel with a great view, excellent service and yummy home cook breakfast. The room and facilities are comfortable and clean. The proprietors are very accommodating. I would stay again next year.

My extended family stayed here for three nights in July while attending a wedding at the nearby state park. We had three rooms, and all three were very large and well maintained. We loved the setting and the view of the mountains to the east. The window boxes were gorgeous and made relaxing in the adirondack chairs an extra treat.... More

While visiting friends in the area, we had passed by the Marshfield Inn - and wondered WHY we were staying many miles away at the over-priced chain motels located off I-89. This visit, I had the luxury of choice, and elected to stay far away from the crowds. The motel is clean, spacious, and quiet. I needed a place to... More

We stayed here overnight and were glad we did. Stepping into the room was like stepping back in time - but in a nice way. The room was clean and good-sized, the bathroom simple but what more do you need? The view from the window was spectacular, especially in the middle of Indian Summer. There was very little traffic and... More

This propert is very much like a B&B with a motel on the side! The original house was built in the 1880s & serves as the office and dining area. The room did not have air conditioning, but did have two fans & windows that opened. Wifi was excellent, room was clean. Cable TV had lots of channels. No shampoo... More

We selected this placed based on trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The rooms are fairly large, which we appreciated after staying at inns with relatively small rooms. The heat works well. The room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel is next to the road but not so close that cars will wake you up like in other... More
