Clean, cozy and comfortable. A unique Inn designed, built and owned by a true Vermonter! If you like the pictures, you will love staying here. Neil and Cindy will make it special, take it from another true Vermonter! Chris & Lynn A

My husband and I were able to get away for just an overnight to The Barnstead Inn this past very snowy weekend, and we enjoyed another wonderful get-a-way at this charming and rustic Inn. The Inn has, I think, 14 rooms, and each has charm and uniqueness that make it a true Vermont hide-a-way full of modern amenities. Our room... More

Recently visited Manchester over Christmas and we all were really pleased with the Barnstead Inn. Super friendly, clean, near town and authentically Vermont. Nice spacious rooms. Neil and Cindy made our Christmas Eve very special.

Spent 1 night at the Barnstead Inn during our tour of USA & Canada which we found to be a pleasant experience, the room was spacious and clean and the location is only a short walk from the centre of Manchester which has a selection of designer shops - if this is your thing! .

This is our 5th trip to Manchester and our 3rd stay in a row at the Barnstead Inn. We love the feel of the Inn, the property, the room, the furnishings, the proximity to town... love it all! The hosts are terrific. We like the rooms with the gas fireplace, but you can't go wrong with any of the rooms.

We had stayed at the Barnstead many years ago and were pleased to do so again. Normally weekends are a two day minimum but the owner made an exception for us. Our room was very nice with a cathedral ceiling and a most comfortable bed. The grounds are lovely but rain prevented us from enjoying them them completely. It is... More

I recently stayed at the Barnstead Inn as part of a trip to photograph fall color in New Hampshire and Vermont. My room was impeccably furnished, with a beautiful fire place for heat. The room was generously sized and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The location is great as downtown Manchester is... More
