This is a beautiful Inn. The rooms are a generous size, with a lovely design. The bed is extremely comfortable and the sheets are warm and soft. We had a great experience in the tavern and a rousing time around the fire pit with a delightful group of guests. The food is delicious at the restaurant on site and the... More

My friend and I went to the Equinox in November. I had always driven by and longing looked at the hotel but never stayed there until this year. And now, whenever I want to give myself a special treat getaway, the Equinox is top of the list. From our first minutes being greeted by Nick right through our two day... More

We booked a king at the Equinox townhouses. Luckily it faced the mountain & not the parking lot. I recommend paying a few $$ more to get an expanded king room. That way you get a better room for not too much extra. The parking lot facing rooms look pretty crappy for the price. We paid $385 for 1 night.... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. It is true that during our holiday weekends, our prices do tend to be higher than during our non-holiday weeks. Our pricing is in line with similar properties in this area, and we feel that we offer good value given our central location and extensive facilities. However, in your... More

We were lucky enough to get a dog- friendly room on short notice. All of us including our retired working dog, were made to feel welcome and cared for. All services -- concierge, front desk, bellman, housekeeping etc -- were excellent. I will review the restaurants separately but the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Special kudos for the box lunch.

Our mid September stay at the Equinox started off on inauspicious note. Check in was at 3 PM and we had to wait when we got there at 5:15 pm because it had not been inspected to be released for occupancy. We soon found out why. Our room was the Mary Todd Lincoln room located on the 2nd floor in... More

We attended a wedding at the Equinox. We had reserved a room as wedding guests in the "Townhomes". It was certainly not how it was described. It was dark with only one lamp on one night table that was blocking the only full length mirror. The on/off switch was on the bottom of the electrical cord. It would have been... More

Good evening and thank you for taking the time to write. I am sorry to hear that you were misled about our townhomes and that this stay didn’t meet your expectations. For your next visit, if you ever need a coffee maker or additional lighting, please feel free to call guest services and we would be more than happy to... More

We purchased two nights in a king townhouse suite through Groupon. The room was nice, but a little tired. It has a large living room with couch and chairs, fireplace (electric which did not work that well) and a dining table with chairs. Full kitchen with dishwasher and stovetop along with necessary utensils and cooking pans. Bedroom was large. Two... More

Driving into Vermont from NYS, it was late, I took the long road. But, I came into a lovely town that just came out of nowhere. With shops and a hotel that brought you into a bygone era. This place is a resort/spa with lovely rooms, breakfast by a fireplace. Near museums, maple syrup tasting, a few miles from upscale... More

Stayed at the townhouses. Reserved a queen deluxe room. Room was very small and dated. View was of the parking lot about 6ft outside the window. Went to desk to change room and were told those rooms are very small and it was $50 to upgrade. We upgraded to a larger room with a better view. However, the coffee mugs... More

I am truly sorry to hear that your recent stay did not meet your expectations for your Wedding Anniversary. Our townhomes are indeed a unique and more moderately priced product than the Main building and Orvis Inn, and not affiliated with the Starwood Luxury Collection portion of our property. They are designed to offer a great value at a lower... More
