Great Place! Was in Manchester on business and this was recommended. Loved the classic nature of the establishment. Owners on site – extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The rooms were absolutely spotless – exceptionally clean. The décor of the room was quaint New England and made you feel very at home. The room was attractive and the bed was very... More

This motel is immaculately clean in every way....outside and in. The rooms are attractive, extremely neat and well appointed. The grounds are picturesque and spacious; and the motel is set far enough away from the highway to be quiet and restful. The owners are helpful and attentive.

Have been staying here for a few years now and have never had a problem. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable and the rates are great also. Restaurants in Manchester are close by and within walking distance in the warm weather. The location is great for everything that southern Vermont has to offer. Close to Stratton and... More

My husband and I have traveled extensively and have stayed mainly in 4 and 5 star hotels/motels. We consider The Aspen at Manchester to be one of our favorites. It is not elegant but it is delightful. The rooms are clean and charming with furniture that is simple but comfortable. They have a large swimming pool that is handicapped accessible... More

Me and my sister planned a trip to Manchester Vermont from PA. While searching for accommodations online we found Olympia lodge and called them but they were booked for that night and recommended we call Aspen. I called in to make a reservation and check the rates and the owner - Scott gave me a lot of options. The price... More

On a last minute whim we decided to continue our leaf peeping for another day on a busy holiday weekend in October, The Aspen had a late cancellation and we were pleasantly surprised with a terriic experience. The property is beautiful, very well maintained and our room was very spacious. It is a new destination for us, it made us... More

We stayed at the Aspen one night during foliage season. This motel is great, very clean, and while the furniture is old fashioned, that's part of its charm. We manage to check in early around 12pm, which was appreciated. Additionally the aspen is located within a 15minute walk of the centre of Manchester and has stunning views. We can only... More

My husband loves The Aspen because he likes pulling up to the door of your room vs walking down long hallways and waiting for elevators. Easy in and out at the Aspen. Each room has space outside the door with a couple of outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the fall air. Manchester doesn't have any chain hotels, so the... More

The owner was great, very helpful and went out of his way to make sure all was right.Landscaping was remarkable...except for the bee that stung me twice!! on the arm. Anyway would not hesitate to recommend the Aspen to anyone who desires comfortable beds, large super clean rooms and spacious parking outside the room at reasonable prices.

We came upon this hotel in the early evening. It was very clean, comfortable and was what you would expect for a Vermont experience. The owner was very knowledgeable and enjoyed giving us information about the area. The price was very reasonable, especially since it was in early fall. The location was also very well maintained and very beautiful, scenic... More
