My husband and I have traveled extensively and have stayed mainly in 4 and 5 star hotels/motels. We consider The Aspen at Manchester to be one of our favorites. It is not elegant but it is delightful. The rooms are clean and charming with furniture that is simple but comfortable. They have a large swimming pool that is handicapped accessible... More

Me and my sister planned a trip to Manchester Vermont from PA. While searching for accommodations online we found Olympia lodge and called them but they were booked for that night and recommended we call Aspen. I called in to make a reservation and check the rates and the owner - Scott gave me a lot of options. The price... More

On a last minute whim we decided to continue our leaf peeping for another day on a busy holiday weekend in October, The Aspen had a late cancellation and we were pleasantly surprised with a terriic experience. The property is beautiful, very well maintained and our room was very spacious. It is a new destination for us, it made us... More

We stayed at the Aspen one night during foliage season. This motel is great, very clean, and while the furniture is old fashioned, that's part of its charm. We manage to check in early around 12pm, which was appreciated. Additionally the aspen is located within a 15minute walk of the centre of Manchester and has stunning views. We can only... More

My husband loves The Aspen because he likes pulling up to the door of your room vs walking down long hallways and waiting for elevators. Easy in and out at the Aspen. Each room has space outside the door with a couple of outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the fall air. Manchester doesn't have any chain hotels, so the... More

The owner was great, very helpful and went out of his way to make sure all was right.Landscaping was remarkable...except for the bee that stung me twice!! on the arm. Anyway would not hesitate to recommend the Aspen to anyone who desires comfortable beds, large super clean rooms and spacious parking outside the room at reasonable prices.

We came upon this hotel in the early evening. It was very clean, comfortable and was what you would expect for a Vermont experience. The owner was very knowledgeable and enjoyed giving us information about the area. The price was very reasonable, especially since it was in early fall. The location was also very well maintained and very beautiful, scenic... More

The Aspen is a lovely place that is clean, quiet and very reasonably priced. The owner is a delight and very helpful. The grounds are well maintained, and the staff very friendly. It is conveniently located to all the shopping in Manchester. I was especially pleased that their prices were not raised for fall foliage season, unlike many other accommodations... More

We have been to many hotels. For fun, I will look in hard-to-reach areas for dust. At Aspen, I found NO DUST. Impeccably clean room. The room also had New England charm and was reasonably priced. If I ever find myself in Manchester again, I will consider Aspen again.
