I just stayed at the inn with my boyfriend and the ambiance was amazing. The inn is beautiful and has a great historic feel, excellent decorating. The Ira Allen House was the perfect setting for our Vermont weekend. We arrived after hours and everything was prepared for us, including a personal note from Maria welcoming us for the weekend. Our extended family stayed at the Ira Allen House this weekend so that we could get one last weekend skiing in Vermont. The conditions were amazing for the end of March! What a cozy and comfortable inn! The innkeepers were so attentive and made us feel like we were home. The food was excellent and I can't wait to go back! more
