The Wildflower Inn is a family oriented resort on 500 acres in beautiful Lyndonville, Vermont. They offer a variety of lodging options from a schoolhouse cottage to a converted carriage house. When my family and I visited, we stayed in the carriage house and our room was comfortable and homey. The inn offers outdoor activities appropriate for the season from... more

Great inn on beautiful property. Pros: - Beautiful setting - Great food (and free full breakfast!) - Lots of activities on the hotel grounds - Friendly staff - Peaceful and relaxing Cons: - Rooms are a bit dated - No T.V. in rooms - Bed wasn't too comfortable - Pool heater was broken, so no one was using the pool... more

Spectacular setting in a quiet, non-touristy area. Friendly staff. Lots to do both onsite and off; the avid mountaineer or the peaceful book lover will be equally pleased by the Wildflower and Northeast Kingdom vicinity. Very family-friendly but not exclusively so--great spot for couples, reunions, gatherings of friends as well. It's easy to take day trips from here, but it's... more

This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed with your family. We have a 12 year old son and a 2 year old. Both children had a wonderful time. Our oldest boy went mountain biking with my husband, used the batting cage, played tennis, swam in the pool, played air hockey, and hiked. Our 2 year old... more

We stayed for the Butterflies, Tots & Forget-me-nots program as we have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. The kids LOVED staying at the Children's Barn and we loved the free time it gave us. The Inn is beautiful and the land it sits on is incredibly beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and nice. We... more

The inn occupies part of a ridge overlooking green pastures, another ridge line, and the silhouette of the Green Mountains in the distance. It is beautifully landscaped, has lovely flower beds, and there are all sorts of animals (horses, cows, donkey, etc) to admire. There are play areas for children and many opportunities for adult recreation, including an extensive system... more

My husband and I have been vacationing at Wildflower for about 15 years. Returning yearly is like visiting old and dear friends. Over the years, we have been blessed with getting to know Mary, Jim as well as other family members. Everyone of them is a delight. We have also become friends with some of the employees. Although we are... more
